In response to those well meaning dog lovers who question the frequency of my breeding practices: Yes, I breed my girls every heat cycle. My vet and I discussed this at length and she said it can actually be harder on the Mama dogs to skip breedings, it’s better to continue breeding until I retire them from having puppies. Many people unfortunately don’t take the time to educate themselves about breeding and assume it’s harmful or cruel to breed back to back litters probably because they are thinking dogs are similar to humans, I had 5 children and could not imagine not having a couple years between my pregnancies, LOL. Furthermore, I don’t breed just “for the money” all my adoptive families can attest to this, I do this because I have a love for the entire experience and a passion to provide the best healthy home raised puppies, and mentoring others to do the same. I would love to see puppy mills go out of business. I have respect for well run responsible kennels but puppy mill providers should go to jail.
My adoption fee covers the many expenses of breeding and allows me to provide top quality care for my girls and their puppies. I keep my fee at the recent average adoption fee for the breed:
1. First, I don’t want to encourage, and in fact have turned away potential adoptive families who are/were not yet in a financial position to own a dog.

2. The initial adoption fee is a drop in the bucket compared to the on going expenses to properly provide, care for, and have the resources to cover anything that may come up in the life of our dogs. For example, this summer, My sons dog was at a friends house and severely cut her leg on a sharp fence, she was rushed to the hospital and had to have surgery. This incident costed over 2,500….

3. Also, I have gifted puppies to family/friends that I know will provide amazing homes and can afford to properly care for their dog.

4. I also tell all of my adoptive families that if they ever find themselves in a position they are unable to care for their dog, I will take it back and provide re-homing assistance or in our Wilma’s case, keep it LOL.

It was a LONG night….but we are all doing great! We have 3 boys; black w/white chest, a golden, and an all white. 2 girls, a golden and an all white. Mini Schnauzer puppies, Purebred. These two have been adopted but we have one other male available in March. and The puppies are home-family raised. They were born on January 8th, 2024,) They will be mostly potty trained to go on potty pads/newspapers and nearly trained to go potty outside! They have been healthy puppy verified by our family vet and first shots/deworming, dew claw removal and tails docked, completed. The adoption fee is 1,500. They will be 10-12lbs full grown.
