McNally is staying with her mother Biscuit while Maverick is living a few miles away with Skye and Maci. We can’t wait to get them on a field of birds.

Yesterday we got a reminder to “trust the dog” several times but in one instance we already had shot a pointed bird. Skye and Maci still would not come off the hedgerow and just moved forward a bit when told to hunt em up. Upon further look a chukar’s head pops up from the woodchuck hole.
We were lucky to sneak in another great hunt at Upland Game Preserve between rain storms with Derek Hicks and Zack Driscoll handling Finley.
