Commercial Diet and DCM...
The FDA is conducting an investigation into a potential link between certain diets and canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). The FDA has received numerous reports of DCM in dogs that have been fed pet foods containing certain ingredients. The reports have come from pet owners, veterinarians, and pet food companies. The FDA is working with veterinary cardiologists and veterinary nutritionists to better understand this potential link. The agency is also collecting detailed information from pet food companies about the formulation and labeling of their products. The FDA is also continuing to evaluate the potential for increased risk of DCM in dogs that are not genetically predisposed to the condition but may have a nutritional deficiency associated with the ingredients in certain diets. 1- Pour a quart of boiling water over 2 large sliced organic lemon and let steep overnight.
2- Drain the lemon water and pour it into a large glass spray bottle
