🇺🇸 Meet Beacon, the "Goodest Boy" 🐶 , the Golden Retriever who played an important role at the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials.

The four-year-old pup is a certified, credentialed staff member and wears a custom bandana with the Olympic rings. Beacon's role was vital during the trials in Minneapolis where gymnasts competed for a spot on Team USA for the Paris Olympics. 🇺🇸 Go Team USA! 🇺🇸

Don’t say I’m not a Mom just because my baby has four legs and fur!
I feed them. Bathe them. Take them to the doctor. Give them treats.
Buy them toys. Protect them from danger. Worry about them when they’re I’ll.
Comfort them when they’re scared. Include them in family photos.
And love them with all my heart. They are my babies and I am their Mom!

Does my cat or dog need to where eclipse glasses?

Well the short answer is, no. Our domesticated pets in general will not look up, unless we call them and they are trying to look at us. Animals in general just go about their day, as the phenomenon of an eclipse isn’t something they’re aware of; it’s just “night time” for a couple minutes. Now most pets won’t have any issues, but some may feel a bit off due to the strange event. They will feed off their owners and those around them, so just try to make it a normal day and if possible, just keep them inside during the event.
