Does anybody recognize these dogs and know where they belong?!
They are running around the City of Milford and were last seen over in the 700 block of 10th street. Unfortunately our Officers were unable to catch them.

It’s getting to be auction time and I will admit I have just not had the energy to do all the running that I normally do! Does anyone have items you can donate to our auction? As you all know, this helps me pay for the feral community Cats we spay and neuter!

Looove this kind of post. This is Ryder. I adopted him to a couple in southern Iowa nine years ago and today is his ninth birthday! I love seeing updates from animals that I am lucky enough to have worked with and they are lucky enough to have found a forever home with! Happiest birthday, big boy!
Ryders human found the photo of me holding him as a baby before he was adopted! Now I love this even more! And yes, even nine years ago I was wearing a shirt that says how can you save the lives of nine cats? Spay one!

Next day::: MUUUUUUCH BETTER! No headache upon waking up, my face is not numb, my eye still just a little bit swollen, but not near as red and definitely not crusted over. Thank goodness! Please remember we are closed now until next week as I am going out of town. ( now that my eye is better I am for sure going ) 
Update: eyecare center got me in right away this morning. Severe conjunctivitis. Prescribed a stronger eyedrop that I will be on for the next week and then go in for checkup next week. Not guaranteed to be contagious or not since I’ve already been on two different eyedrop’s for the last 10 days, but just a warning for anyone who was in contact with me last week keep an eye on your eyeballs! 
Embarrassing post alert. I’ve been having an eye issue since last week. We thought it was pink eye. I have been on medicated drops for the week, but they were not helping. Just got new drops yesterday. As you can see, they have not taken effect yet. I’m having a hard time with vision in my infected eye, obviously it is swollen and keeps watering. I’ve already been to the doctor twice. Waiting to hear what I should do today, but unfortunately, I will not be at work. I cannot see clear out of my eye, second of all I should not be having any kind of hair, dirt, or debris in the eye right now . Calling my doctor again to see if I need to get back in to her or just go to the ER or just wait out the medication. If you plan on picking up any kind of supplies today, just let me know and I can meet you up there quickly.
I am supposed to be leaving town tomorrow for the weekend, but obviously that may not be happening in this condition. I will be rescheduling the dogs I had for grooming today. Send some Luck my way this is about the last thing I need to have happening right now! 🙄

Saturday will be another very warm day as afternoon heat index values climb into the upper 90s to lower 100s west of Interstate 29. Limit outdoor activities if possible, drink plenty of water, and don't forget to check on children and pets!

Help is needed!!! Anyone feeling donation happy? I cannot take care of this right now and the Animal account has no funds! Anyone willing to help and Pitchin so I can take this baby in and get him to the vet first thing Monday? 
Vet update: 😿 kitten is now deceased. felv/fiv was negative, x-ray showed no broken bones, anywhere in spine or legs, however, the ultrasound was tough. The vet could not even see the babies organs because he was so full of dark fluid. This is a pretty good sign of FIP. There is no clear cut test for that, and it’s a very ugly disease with a very ugly death. I would not put the kitten through that. There are ‘ treatments’ which are three months long, very expensive, and not guaranteed to work. On the way to the vet clinic, I decided to name him Theo for some reason. It has been a very rough day, afternoon, and evening, knowing that this precious little baby only had about eight weeks of life and all, but three days of them were pretty miserable for him. Theo has now crossed the rainbow bridge. SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CATS PLEASE. It was over $500 for the visit today and thankfully, they didn’t even charge us for everything. Donations are still needed. Just because he is now deceased does not mean the bill does not exist. 
MONDAY UPDATE: Kitty is going in for felv/fiv test, exam, and x-rays to all pets vet clinic in spirit Lake today at 2:30. You can call the clinic directly to make a donation or you can let me know and I can pick one up from you! This will not be a cheap visit. I am sure! if you donate directly to the vet clinic, you need to say it is under Lakes community animal welfare tuxedo Kitty, or my name ( Katt flockhart) we need donations for him!!! 
UPDATE: kitten is in the care of Arnolds Barkery and grooming. I believe he was possibly hit by a car. And I don’t think it was very recent. My personal opinion is that his leg will need to be amputated as it is completely paralyzed. He is not in any pain or immediate danger. he will be housed and fed and taken care of over the weekend and will try to get him into the vet right away on Monday and go from there. As soon as I have an update, I will post to the page and let you know how and where you can donate! Giant, thank you to the Finder for saving this tiny little baby! 
We need help! Would anyone be able to sponsor this kitten if I take care of it? Just got alerted to this baby with a broken leg and needs veterinarian care immediately. We currently do not have the funds for that! No idea what it would cost, but I cannot take the kitten without having, funding available!

So, this just happened. I came out of the grooming room and heard some odd sound. Not sure if you can hear it very well on the video. Turn your sound up, watch till the end and you will find out what the sound is! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My niece is obviously at home with the baby and this is so exciting!  edit… as the post says this is my niece. She has grown up with animals all of her life. She has had this dog since he was a baby himself. She is very mature, very responsible, and would never let anything happen to her newborn baby. at one point in time the dog was her baby. He is not jealous, has not shown any aggression, in fact has shown nothing but care and admiration for the new human baby. There have been a lot of negative comments posted lately. I can assure you, my niece as a new mother would never let anything happen to either her human baby or her canine baby. Sound on and look at this! My youngest niece had her very first baby the other day. Give it a minute and you will see why I am posting it here! Look at how he changes when he gets comforted by his dog brother! One of the cutest things I’ve ever seen in my life! 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Grace is alone a lot, but trust me she gets plenty of attention! All of you that know her knows she can be pretty, let’s say, feisty, 🤣🤣🤣 she won’t let just anybody do this to her. In between dogs if I have a minute, she gets attention, and obviously on days I’m closed. I’m here several times a day checking on her. And whether you believe it or not, she is a super lover girl, and loves the attention and the kisses!
You guyyyyysssss…. I have to share this because this little baby is breaking my heart. We believe he maybe fell out of a tree or something, no mother or adult around for a couple of days, dehydrated, crying. So we took him in for the night last night. I have never touched a raccoon in my life! I did not know if the sounds he was making was good or bad. I felt terrible force feeding him formula in a little kitten bottle. But I am told that is the babies way of ‘purring’ like a kitten. We did feedings almost every hour last night, which is difficult to do because he just does not latch on very well. But he is a fighter! Getting ready to load him up and take him to Wildlife rehab in the next hour. It took several people and several phone calls to give me tips to take care of him through the night, and one of my good friends and volunteer and helper, and Mom to Duke and stella if you ever see their pictures, Skylor Sullivan, is the one who found this baby and helped feed, thankfully so, now the baby will live and be OK! He is just absolutely precious!

This is a site. I’m glad to see! Starting off VERY minimally, today is a trial with one dog. Tomorrow I will be here at 10 AM until 12 PM and same for Saturday. Please remember, I cannot do a full cut, I cannot hold my clippers. I also cannot hold a brush or tools long enough for long-haired dogs. Touchups only right now which includes a sanitary, trim, face, cleanup, pad, and pot cleanup, as I can tolerate, nail, trim, bath, and blow dry. I will only be able to do Two or three dogs per day so our hours will be very minimal. Glad to be back! Wish me luck!
