Here is what my foster had to say: "Lincoln has been in foster for 3 weeks. Lincoln is an old soul who loves attention and rubbing on you. At times he will put his paws around your neck to hug you. He plays a bit with his string toy but seems to like hanging out in the sun much more. A cat after my own heart! Lincoln does love his scratch box as any good cat should.

Lincoln has "mitten " paws as he is a polydactyl which makes him even more unique. Lincoln will love a home where he can have lots of attention and calm. He will provide his new owner with lots of love in return.''

Are you in need of a loving and well-behaved right hand man? Chief is at your service! This handsome boy is used to being a house dog and has impeccable manners. On a weekend sleepover with our fosters, Chief immediately settled in and didn't get onto furniture unless he was invited first. He seems to already be potty and crate trained. He's affectionate and snuggly, and just the right balance between playful and laid-back. If you want a dog who is equally comfortable going on outings and relaxing at home, Chief is your guy! He prefers your full attention without having to share you with other dogs. He would be a great match with adults and easy-going teens!

According to Chief, a perfect day starts with a hearty breakfast (he's a real foodie) followed by a leisurely walk by the riverside and some silly splash time in the water. Wrap it all up with a little tug rope play and snuggles on the couch with a movie, and Chief could not be happier. This amazing boy asks for so little, but offers so much love. If you're ready to enlist in a lifetime of snuggles and tail wags, Chief is ready to report for duty! Zeppelin is here to prove there's no love like that of a senior dog! This handsome 7 year old is a joy to be around and has plenty of good times still ahead of him. Zeppelin loves time outside. Whether a short and leisurely stroll or a nice long hike, he is a perfect buddy with great leash manners. His other favorite activity of all time? Being fawned over with petting, scratches, and brushing! Zeppelin is relaxed and easygoing with other dogs when he goes to our pooch playgroups and would fit right in with any dogs you have at home. This boy deserves the best home for his golden years. He doesn't ask for much: give Zeppelin some of your time, and he will give you all of his heart in return! One look at Celestial and we know you'll be captivated! This sweet girl has a congenital malformation of her hindlimb, but it doesn't slow her down. Her uniqueness just makes her all the more special. She is incredibly affectionate and is bonded with her brother, Star. Sweet Star is ready to find his new home! Star is a cuddly, easygoing guy who is bonded with his sister Celestial. You can find them cuddling together in their favorite cozy bed. Star has congenital malformation of his back leg, but he gets around like a champ. Animals are available for adoption through Asheville Humane Society, but we cannot guarantee their availability.
