We would like to extend a huge Thank You to White River Ag and the Vernon family for the huge opportunities and successes over the past 5 years. Ashland has been a place of great growth for us and our business. We would like to wish them all good luck in their next chapter and the rest of the 2024 show season.

With that being said Boyes Reining horses will now be working out of River Bluff Farms which is nestled beautifully in the inner part of Cottage Grove, MN. The facility includes a fantastic outdoor track for the summer and a heated indoor to utilize in the winter months! It is home to the great Rick Klaus Show horses!
There’s just too many other positive attributes to list! We have some stall availability right now and will have more in the next coming months!

We specialize in starting two year olds and finishing them into competitive Futurity prospects! Also, in building Non Pro horses that last! If you are having thoughts about purchasing a prospect in any of the upcoming sales this fall don’t hesitate to contact us now, so that we can count you in for the upcoming year. 2021 Mare by Shine Chic Shine X Miss Royal Starbuck LTE: $8,600

Penny is a show stopper for looks! But that’s not all, check out the way this mare stops! 🛑 Ultra fancy and gritty! We could have taken stop videos of her all day long. Not to mention the way she glides across the ground loping around. This mare unfortunately got sick her two year old year and only has about 10 months of training on her to date, but it’s easy to say she’s quickly catching up! We don’t think she will be quite ready for the big Futuritys this fall, but she will definitely be ready for the smaller shows! Or save her for the red shirt derbys!!

We’re home from a fantastic week in Springfield at The Buckeye Reining Series! It was a long week with all hands on deck, but we pushed through and we came home victorious! Big Congratulations goes out to everyone on our team!

👑 Dreamin of A Goodtime and Tanner marked an impressive 221.5 in the open Derby to take 7th place in the Level 4 and 4th place in the Level 3!

🌖 Guns Sparkling Night and Tanner followed close behind with a 219!

Open Derby horses continued to take home checks! ⚡️Electric Ebony Spook took home money in the Level 2 and 3. Also earned a 4th place spot in the Novice Derby!

We broke out some 4 yr olds for this show and couldn’t be happier with how they came out to play! 🔅SS Shinerilla Spook took home 2nd in the 4yr old stakes! 🌟Special Lil Sparkle followed behind in third place in the stakes!

Our Non Pros worked up a sweat this week as well!
Sarah Schaben and 🎐Commanders Whiz Chic scored a 70 to tie for 5th place in the Rookie!

Molly Vernon knocked it out of the part with 🥃WhizkeyatNight and 🥀 Lil Voodoo the teams were 2nd and 4th in the Limited Non Pro and placed in the top ten in the lower Derby levels!

Jenna Vernon piloted ☀️Lil Sunshine Joe to an 11th place finish in the level 1 and 2 Derby! Oh and were also still screaming about the 146 they helped mark in the awesome Pro-Am class winning them third place!

Alli Vernon put together a super cool ride on 🌟Starlight Sonata! This new team is headed to the top, we just know it! They brought home some cash in the level 2 and 3 of the Non pro Derby!

Paige Vernon tested out some four year olds for this show and they’re off to a great start! 🌶️ Hot Shiny Enterprize won her first check in the 4yr old stakes! While Paige and 🎠Modernizzed took home the championship honors for the Level 2 and level 4 stakes class for the 4yr olds!

Great horse show! Next stop 🛑 NRHA Derby!

Well, Tanner and Dreamin Of AGoodtime ended up a few points short of a qualifying trip to Vegas, but this pair laid their heart out in Arizona tonight! ❤️ We couldn’t be more grateful to leave the show with a SOUND, HAPPY, and the best TEAMMATE on the trailer tonight!

👑“King”👑 marked a 220 to be tied for 17th out of 92 head of the best of the best! Everyone brought their “A” game. His career is really just quite beginning as a 5yr old with over $52,000 in earnings, and he’s been playing right along at the upper levels the whole time!
