Puppies should be 6 months before their first haircut!!! It’s not a rule, you can find a groomer willing to do it BUT the hair texture changes, the behavior is usually too bad for a good looking cut and it’s traumatizing for the puppy.

A mini groom to trim up the face, feet & tail is plenty of practice once a month until your puppy understands the process.
