Deer season is here! It’s an exciting time of year that a lot people look forward to. This year marks 25 years in business for Take ‘Em Taxidermy! We have been Preserving the Hunt since 1999. A big Thank You to everyone who has supported us! For those who do not know us yet, we are a friendly taxidermy shop with great communication and a loyal following. Give us a ring if you have success and are looking to get your buck mounted or to have a European done.

It was great to get a call again from Mark this year that he’d had another successful NE hunt. He visited our shop on his way home to drop off this great buck and share the story of his hunt. Thanks for choosing Take ‘Em Taxidermy!

Like I said yesterday, it can all change in a matter of seconds…

I’d arrived in Nebraska the day before and found out the whole area I’d hunted the last two years was being hunted by a couple other people with permission and that I’d not be able to go over there until they left. The only spot I could hunt now was new to me and had almost zero huntable trees and little cover. I was discouraged to say the least.

24 hours later, I was singing a different tune. Point being, don’t ever give up hope at this time of year! Good luck folks and have fun.

My son Max and I took a break from from a busy week to get some therapy in the blind, we were fortunate enough to call these two birds in and get a double.
