🎊 ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎊
has been adopted 🎉🎉🎉
A citizen found Finn at a Walmart and brought him to a local shelter. He was in poor health and clearly had a rough life prior to being brought to the shelter. Thankfully Kristen also volunteers at the shelter and spotted sweet Finn and offered to foster him so we could take him into our care! ❤️
We are so grateful to Kristen & family for fostering, everyone who donated towards Finn’s medical care, Flying Shepherd Ranch and a special thanks to Kelly & family for adopting and sending this update! ❤️
"Thank you so much for the opportunity to adopt sweet Finn!! I live outside of Denver, Colorado. In 2022, I adopted a puppy ( ) through a rescue here that The Street Dog Project partnered with. I started following TSDP on social media because I loved the opportunities that they afford these street dogs. In March of 2024, I lost my beloved 12 year old dog, Duke. I happened to see Finn on Facebook a few weeks later. He was the same age and seemed to have so many similar mannerisms. Poor Finn had been through so much - estimated to be 12 years old, he had heartworm, was missing part of his ear, and was underweight. I said that I could wait until he was finished with heartworm treatment to move him to Colorado, if TSDP would let me. He moved in June and we love him so much. Finn was meant to be with us. He gets along with all of my other 3 pups, and is my constant companion. He sits at my feet all day while I work. He gets along with the kitty (so long as she doesn’t sneak up on him when he’s sleeping😂). He just seems so grateful for everything he has. We have already gone on adventures at the lake, tent camping, and to local restaurants. Most of our adventures include laying down and observing the world, which he seems to love. Finn is always so happy and soaks up all of the attention he is offered. He also LOVES the lack of humidity here. He knows he was meant to be a Colorado dog! I can’t thank you enough for all you do to save the lives of these pups. We are forever grateful."
