It is true that we had a fire at the Dome, it was in a storage building. Alot of equipment and inventory lost, but the Dome is alive and as well as it can be. Open as usual tomorrow, appreciate seeing you all. Gary

Distichodus teugelisi: Rarer species from the middle Congo basin. Stays small, should max out at about 3". Might nibble at plants. Great tankmate with dwarf cichlids, larger tetras. This beautiful little fish currently available but limited.

Outside is done. The big blue marble is finally finished. Our $90000.00 renovation of the exterior of the Aqua-Dome is complete with a Texas RhinoShield coating, not quite the Vegas Sphere but the closest thing to it in Texas. More improvements to come in the pond area, keep you posted.

New shipment of ADA tissue culture plants arrived this morning. 148 plants, 26 varieties.
Some new species Eriocaulon quinquangulare, Hygrophila odora, Ludwigia sphaerocarpa, Lagenandra " Silver Queen", Rotala rotundifolia " blood red". As well as some old favorites Pink Panther, Monte Carlo, and of course the
mosses. Come by, check them out, expand your own plant collection.

This is the very very late March Coral of the Month. April's will be out by this weekend. (Written by Matt) Xenia and Anthelia belong to the genus Xeniidae. Coral in this genus are soft, meaning they have no stony skeleton. This makes them easier to keep for the hobbyist, because it is not necessary to dose skeletal elements. Regular water changes are enough to provide for them. Xenia can handle low to medium light and a variety of flow. Pulsing Xenia tends to only display its pulsing behavior when in low flow areas. Wanted to feature Guianacara sphenozona today. These South American Cichlids have a similar behavior as geophagus and prefer similar water conditions. They like large river stones, sandy substrate with leaf litter. A great fish for a South American Cichlid community tank!
