We’ve got a potential rope horse and a barrel horse we’re tuning up after kissing spine surgery this month! We’ve just graduated from tracking and roping the dummy on the gelding, and moving onto live steers. Off we ride!

Update! Horse (one) came back negative! We love to hear it for Bowie! We always strive for the best care for all client horses, so it was a necessary precaution! Thanks for hanging with us😊

We’re not taking ANY horses that come from Bowie Livestock until further notice, or any horses that have been in contact with a Bowie Sale horse. PER RUMORS, MULTIPLE horses tested positive for EIA (COGGINS) and it is fatal, not to mention no treatment. Until Bowie and or the state have shared more, we’re taking this as a precaution for our horses and program. Thanks for understanding.

Barrel racers love Cord to start their horses correct, so they're ready for the pattern when they come back home. Don't shy away when we specialize in rope horses!
Specializing in all things, c**t starting and team roping or calf roping horses.
Starting c**ts -
Driven with lines and saddle before ridden
Only spend a couple days in a round pen then taken to pasture
Once ridden successfully (timing is different for each horse) in pasture, horse can be hauled to various events, taken to work cows (pushing and sorting), and ridden on trails for additional desensitization
Highlights that make us different
Horses are rotated from dry lots (w/ unlimited hay) to open pasture regularly to ensure they are not kept in pens the entire stay.
Regularly communicated with via text, call, video, pictures.
We encourage customers to ride every 30 days or come watch us ride, to see your horse's development and how you can continue the training with your horse at home. Basically a lesson is included with your horse for each 30 days provided.
SEVERAL happy clients, all clients have been repeat customers and/or happy to provide recommendations for future customers.
We offer payment plans during your horses stay.
Requirements
All shots and coggins up to date for the safety of all horses on the premises.
Prefer teeth to be floated and feet done prior to arrival to ensure the best possible outcome of the training!

We have two spots open for c**t starting or calf roping prospects. I also start a lot of barrel horses before they get on the pattern, so racers don’t count yourself out on my program.

Unstarted c**ts will be ground driven before rode. All horses are pasture and arena rode. Rotating pasture turn outs, NONE are kept in lots of pens 24/7. Regular video and verbal updates, even if you just want a picture of your horse - I send it! Happy to show off your horse if you want to come see it in action, and a ride/lesson with myself and your horse before you go back home, so you can know all the buttons and specific things your horse learned.

Located in Dawson Texas. Will pick up and drop off at owners expense.
We offer two separate cost options, bring your feed program or use ours. We offer payment plans.

The thickness on mama and baby are shocking!🤤
“Prada” born in April 2024
Prada is VERY docile and gentle. Will be BIG, already a big filly. Loves love and can be handled already.
“Yuma Hancock” (16.1H) X “Kings Prettybebe” (16.3H)

Stud is an overall performance producer; barrel horses, rope or ranch prospects.

Dam - Possibly sound, but selling as broodmare sound for now!
“Kings Prettybebe” ran on the track as a filly. LTE on track pending. Went on to make a stellar barrel/play day horse.
Hairline fracture back left cannon. Healed, but developed infection in the process. It was scrapped and developed scar tissue. Use the fancy rehab machines and she may come back just fine. If not, she’s a wonderful broodmare. Foaled baby by herself, very friendly with her babies and people around her babies. Easy to mess with and handle!

Performance home is a must for this filly. Broodmare would be an excellent candidate for a performance breeding program. She comes with the size and papers, but also a good mama to handle. More photos available at request.

“Sally” was started by a reining trainer for 60 days. Continued another 30 days with another local trainer to free her up. Excellent stop, soft face. Easy to control, very responsive. Hauls wonderfully in any type of trailer. Such a NICE ride.

She is FAST. Be ready to win with this mare. She is ready to go in any direction. Would EXCEL in the barrel pen. Shown great ability around the barrel pattern as she already engaged very easily throughout the turn. Would make a great calf horse from the experience she gained at the trainers.

Thank you for being so patient and kind!🩷 Our clients are the BEST!

We ask for grace and (more) patience with the outside horses. As much as we’d love to have them ridden and growing in their time with us EACH day, we just had about 4 inches pour down in an hour, with a LOT more coming.

Our top concern is the safety of all of the horses! We’re making sure they’re getting to dry ground, no flooding areas, and hay in front of them always.

We’re offering ONE of these yearlings before we start handling them. They came off a historical horse breeding ranch in Montana as weanlings!
Either one should make anywhere from 15-16 hands. Have lots of photos of the Junior stud. A couple of mamas.
Bred to rope, run, or work.
I would say the sorrel is a little more interested in being messed with. Bay, not so much yet.
AQHA Ranching Heritage eligible.

This fancy broke mare, Sally, is needing some adjustments to fit her rider and her future a bit better. Has a lot of WOAH and needs a little less to keep her going through the barrel patterns. We love the growth she has shown so far and we enjoy getting to teach her some patience as he haul her with the rest of the Arrow CS team right now!

This cute sorrel, Ruby, got her first ride almost a couple of weeks ago. It's entertaining to see each horse's first reaction to the first ride. Once she was pushed from her comfort zone and gained some confident with neck rubs of reassurance, she rode off great. She will be graduating and riding out of the round pen today with a video update soon. She will be a good one here at the end of her stay. Stay tuned!

This little girl is showing great improvement on tolerating the driving lines all around her body and happily took cinching up today.
All horses move at their own pace and it’s a “give and take” to properly break a horse the right way, without all force.

She will be a great one in time! I can’t wait to show y’all where we get her at the end of her stay.

We are back in ACTION! Calving season is in full swing and I am taking outside horses with me so they can learn what hard work is! Arrow CS specializes in colt starting, ranch work, and rope horses. Sierra will begin training barrel horses, green to seasoning, May 1st. She has a list of achievements and have sold horses trained solely by her internationally and locally. You won't regret it. We require a 60 day minimum. Horses are traded out into large coastal pastures. They will not be in a run the entirety of their stay. We do not take studs on our property. Contract is required to be signed at drop off. Copy is sent home with owner. Located in Dawson, Texas. Willing to meet clients if needed.

Buckskin mare from Dee Scarbro! She is learning some patience and we have gotten rid of the head throwing we had at the beginning! Whoop whoop. She’s learning to move off her sides more now. She’s a natural! Nice seat and hands. Maybe she will train horses one day too!

Update!! She is graduating from the round pen!⭐️ This 4 year old mare has had 12 total days with us for breaking her! The first 6 days were spent on ground work in the round pen and driving/intro to a bit. The latest 6 days have been riding in the saddle. On to big pastures and arenas now! Woo-hoo! Now taking deposits for February and March of 2024!!⭐️
