I know that some of you are having questions and also reaching out to Amanda to groom your dogs once we close the avonmore shop (and that is completely fine to do so). But for those asking where I'm located, go check out/follow my Latrobe page. It has all my info and you can see some of the stuff that I offer, like themed photos. There is also a TON of things to do while you wait on your pets. I am right down the street from a bakery and a pizza shop. There are sooo many pizza places around here. Gino Gianellis is also right down the street (good Italian food). You can run to Walmart, Lowes, giant eagle, big lots, tractor supply, etc. In the warmer weather, if u have kids, my shop is across the street from legion keener (which has a nice playground). There are walking trails around. Also going towards the airport, there is a cute little nature reserve to walk around. There is just so much to do here while you wait! The distance is 26 minutes from the avonmore shop to Latrobe, so I do understand if that's too far, especially if ur pet isn't a good rider. But I just wanted to share a little bit about the area if u weren't familiar. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! To all my clients:

I started this business so that I could make my own schedule and be at home with my kids and watch them grow. With them getting older, more activities have taken over our lives (so far dance and cheer, Tristan will be getting some soon as well). So u may have noticed it's been getting harder to schedule with me as I can really only be in avonmore one evening a week. But I always said as long as Amanda is there, I will stay for my regulars/people who specifically request me. However, some major events are occurring in Amanda's life (all good things!) which is having her move forward with building her own shop at her house. That being said, K&A Grooming will most likely be closing at the end of the year. It wasn't an easy decision. I tossed the idea of staying myself, but honestly cannot afford two rents, especially when I can't be there but one day a week. I dont expect you all to follow me to my Latrobe shop, but you are all welcome to! I can/will pass along Amanda's number when her shop is built or you can find someone on your own. If you choose not to follow me, please know I'm forever grateful for your business and loved your pets as my own and I will miss them so so much and I thank you for entrusting them with me all these years. If you come to Latrobe, I do some fun things for your pet that I haven't done in the past and there are at least places to go/things to do while you wait! I do hope to continue to see your pets, but I completely understand if u choose to stay closer to home❤

Hey everyone! It's been quite the busy summer and while it's not over yet, i wanted to give you all a heads up on the changes coming this fall! Starting labor day, my hours will be Mon- Wed from 12:15-230 and then Thursday 12-8. Weekends will be limited until November with Gabby in cheering and the games will be Saturdays and Sundays. Those are my hours for the Avonmore location. If you have any issues or questions, don't hesitate to reach out!😊

Hi all! Summer is coming (yay!) and just a heads up, my summer is looking to be crazy! My daughter wants to try cheerleading and they practice a few nights a week so that being said, my nights will be limited! Also trying to split my time between the two locations. I haven't quite figured out my schedule yet, but I will probably only be working one night a week in Avonmore for those that are long term clients that absolutely need evenings. That's just for July and August. (Of course schedules will change once fall hits🥴). If that doesn't work, you can always schedule at my Latrobe office- shop or go out to eat while you wait! As always, thank you for your business and patience as I juggle schedules!😁

If you happen to follow my Latrobe location or my personal Facebook, you may see some photos I take of my grooms. I was just curious if this is something you would be interested in as well. I try to keep my prices low so you can pick and choose what you like to have done. That's why I don't send you home with a bandana unless you see one you like or you want your dog to have one. No point in spending the money (or putting the cost into the groom price) if you just go home and take it off. I'd charge $5 for the photo/bandana and I'd text you the photos within a day or two after I get them off my camera. If it's something you may like, let me know! It'd be an option, something you can add on once in awhile (or after every groom if you'd like!) If I get a lot of interest, I'm thinking I'll start with Christmas photos! Here are some examples of what I'm talking about and comment below what your thoughts are!😁

Ok, so now that I have the school schedule, my hours in Avonmore will definitely still be tues and wed and every other Sat. I can start taking appointments as early as 10am to 6. I know there's a few of you that will still need appointments in the evening (I know who you are so don't worry!😉) and I will more than happily still groom your dog. Those times just may not show up on the scheduler, so just reach out to me to schedule! I also can take one cut or two baths between 12-1:30 on thursday and Friday while Tristan is in school. Saturdays will be 9-2 (or longer if needed). Any issues, feel free to reach out! I appreciate all your continued business!😁

I'm still (anxiously) awaiting any info about the start of kindergarten in Latrobe. So please bare with me if I have to reschedule any appointments. I have no idea when orientation may be, I dont know bus schedules, etc. I also won't know my schedule as far as dates/times that I'll be working in Avonmore vs Latrobe. I'm thinking it'll be the same (tues, wed and every other sat). I may also be able to take one in the mornings of Thurs and Friday while Tristan is at kindernook. I will keep you posted when I know!😊
