Happy Birthday to our wonderful 2nd Kia/Casa de la Bahia-Bruno/Ol Glory puppies.

Echo the fabulous and sweet divalicious loving monster, Amber the sweet and speedy little Lexi look alike, Shania the Twain… so much attitude, Tinker Bell… all sugar and no spice, JoJo the sweet, caring and protective mama of the schnauzers in her home, Elvis the menace… yes he is a lot, lol, Volo the super sweet couch potato, and the last 2 sweet boys… lil’ Rascal who is also little brother to schnauzers and Enzo… our sweet deaf boy who is living it up in Acapulco!

All of you carry your mom’s heart and craziness… yes the crazy comes from Kia. lol. But she was also fun, sweet, caring, friendly, strong and above all… LOYAL! So may you all continue to be all that and more for your families! Love you all little ones!

GCHB CH Lexus de Casa de la Bahia had an amazing weekend at the Caddo Kennel Club Dog show in Marshall, TX.

She won OH Group placements every day, Regular Working Group placements 2 out of 3 days and she earned her BCAT title in fastcat. Best time was 7.91 secs.

She also went in the Junior ring with my daughter Isabella, and helped her earn a Reserve Best Junior on Saturday!

Thank you Lexi for always giving us your best. Momma Kia would be so proud!

GCH Ol Glory Shining Bright at Casa de la Bahia - Echo

What can we say about this beautiful girl! She always shines at every show she goes! She steals everyone’s heart and is a joy to watch in the ring. She showed beautifully at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club Dog show and received a Select Bitch placement under judge Ms. Lew Olson.
Thank you Robin Massingil for loving our wonderful Echo and doing such a great job with her!

Ol Glory Working Nine to Five at Casa de la Bahia - Amber

This gorgeous girl had an amazing weekend at the Brazos Valley Kennel Club Dog Show in Navasota. She represented our Kennel beautifully and won Winners Bitch at the supported entry for a 5 point major! She is so close to receiving her CH title! We are so proud of her!
Thank you so much Kassi for handling her Friday, and Britney Suria for stepping in and getting it done Saturday and Sunday!
Special thanks to judge Dr. Eric Liebes for recognizing our beautiful girl!
And a special thanks to her owners Alfred and Liz Cantu for trusting us with her and providing a great home for her! And to Mel and Alfred, thanks for all the work you have put into her show training thus far! I can’t wait to see what her future holds!

AKC NATIONALS in Orlando Florida

Very proud to share that Lexi did amazing in Florida! She won:
Best of Breed for NOHS Finals Competition
Best of Opposite, Best of Breed OH for the Working Group Competition.
On Friday she was in and out of the ring all day long… and represented our Kennel and the breed very well!

On Sunday, she received another Best of Opposite award in a very hard fought line up!

GCH CH Lexus de Casa de la Bahia played at the local news channel today! We were interviewed about our Westminster win and our upcoming National Championship show in Orlando! Lexi was very talkative! Will post when it airs!

What a joy it is to see this!
And….. after much thinking and praying about it, we entered her in The AKC National Championship Show in Orlando!
My husband and I will be going to see how she closes the 2023 show year!
Can’t wait to go with Victor to a big show! Regardless of how she does, it will be fun to experience this with him!

Another great accomplishment for GCH CH Lexus de Casa de la Bahia. She received her NOHS Silver.

I am so proud of this accomplishment. Of all the times she has shown, she has never been with a professional handler!!! I am sure she would prob look way better and perhaps win a lot more with one, but… since I lost Kia, I decided I would enjoy showing Lexi to the fullest … win or not… we would have fun in the ring together. And boy have we ever. I am proud to be her breeder, her owner and I am certainly proud to be her handler! I know I am!

Quiero agradecer a mis amigos Nicolas Gutierrez y Juan Jose Hernandez por haberme invitado a la exposición puesta por la Delegacion Patagonia Norte en Neuquén Argentina. Muchachos nadie puede negar su entrega, dedicación, y amor no solo por el Dogo pero también por su gente. ¡Se les quiere mucho muchachos!

Casa de la Bahia, Ol Glory puppies turned 1 today!

It has brought us so much joy to see all the pics with the different celebrations for the puppies. And just to see them grow and be loved has filled our hearts with gratitude!!!

Elvis has entered the building… or the picture collage!! Lol

Missing a couple of puppies… Elvis, Amber Rose and Tinker… but I know they are all doing great! I have seen them all recently and they are amazing!!!

This year has been a blast with Lexus de Casa de la Bahia! From going to Nationals in Orlando (technically that was last year in December, but close enough), to winning several OH Reserve BIS, to participating in Westminsters and winning Best of Breed, to trying FasCat for the first time and setting a great time, to going on beautiful hikes in Colorado, to wonderful lazy days at the beach!!! Everyday has been a blast with this girl!!! She truly makes us happy. After a well deserved break, We are about to return to the show ring in October… can’t wait to hang with her in the ring again!
