These girls are looking for a new home due to no fault of their own. Both are very sweet. Kitten (the short hair tabby) is so friendly to everyone. Good with dogs with introductions. She does okay with other cats, but it takes time. She is 8. Itty Bitty is 4. She is not a big fan of dogs. She will tolerate if them if they keep their distance and she’s not having a crabby day. 🤣 she takes a bit more warming up to for strangers. But if you’re her person, she’ll adore you. Both never have missed the litter box and both are spayed.

They don’t have to go together, but obviously that is ideal.

If you’re looking for cats that are out of their kitten stage and are more calm and not wanting to climb your curtains. These are the girls for you. They aren’t SNIP cats. This is just a courtesy post. Will put you on contact with owner if interested. 🐾💜

Thank you all who participated in the yard sale. Don't forget some people are having their sale tomorrow. Thank you everyone who came out with their maps and brought items throughout the town. We have set the dates! SNIP’s city wide garage sale will be the weekend of June 21st, 22nd and 23rd!

If you want to get on the map let us know. It’s $10 dollars a spot. The map will be available to pick up at some locations (to be determined) and a digital version for people who prefer to use their phones.

🐣 Every year we try to make the vendor show fun! Here are some of the door prize baskets we are drawing for. All you have to do is walk through the door, fill out a ticket with your name and phone number and you could go home with one. You don’t have to be present to win! 🐣

🍖 🍗 🌯 Besides door prizes we will have Breakfast and Lunch for purchase from Bogey BBQ in the parking lot. Get there early though, he sells out every year!

🐰 🥚 🐰 And just as a great coincidence that the Gamma Beta Sorority hosts their Easter Egg hunt at 11am and pictures with the Easter Bunny right next to the barn next door (or inside the barn if the weather isn’t cooperating)!

🧁 Stop in and get some Easter treats so you don’t have to bake or maybe just to fill your lunch box with. 🧁

🤩 All of this on top of our awesome vendors that bring their creations and businesses to share with you! 🤩

These sweet babies are ready for their new homes, they are located in Glendive but owner willing to deliver to the right homes. born December 6th (10 weeks old now).

All friendly and litter box trained.

Baker Area Hardware donated a lot of dog leashes and collars to SNIP. We lare extremely appreciative that they are helping us fundraise by doing this! Local people helping local people! 💕

That being said what you see is what I have for options. I cannot order more. I tried my best to display their tags as much as I could.

Any collar individual leash or collar $5.00 each. Buying one of each as a set for $7.00.
Willing to give discounts on multiples.

I can mail them, but have no way to pre determine shipping. So, I would have let you know that cost when it comes time to ship.

So my neighbor relocated my porch kitty to parts unknown. It was claimed he dropped her off down Plevna road south, where the road Y’s a bit after the Sandstone turn off. That Y is a gravel road (I don’t know the name). She was taken down there, according to him, a few miles and let go on the highest hill Sunday night. 😭 people have been looking for her with no luck. She is pictured below. She’s just under a year old, spayed and vaccinated. Might be a bit scared or stand off ish if she doesn’t know you. Please call or text me (Brittany) 406-891-0464 if you see her.

We have litter boxes out and other neighbors have left food out for her in the area. This is kind of a Hail Mary given the location with coyotes, big birds and the cold. But please keep an eye out if you’re down that direction at all.

This is a APPRECIATION post.
THANK YOU EVERYONE who shares ALL my kitty post. SNIP Appreciates you. Earlier I posted a kitty that was lost. Just so you all know I took her in Friday night and she's been in my rabbit hutch food water and snuggled in straw. Her name is Rapunzel and she been reunited with her family. I wanted you all to how appreciative I am for you constantly sharing my post because.... Rapunzel has been missing for 4 months and her family was devastated... thinking she had passed away. They used to live in Baker 2 years ago and Rapunzel made it 14 miles back to her old house. THANK YOU ALL for getting the word out and helping Rapunzel to make it back home safe. Thank you to the people who see a kitty in need and help them & for calling or messaging me to check the situation out. 💜

Does anyone recognize this kitty? She has been hanging out around the Hospital (corner of 4th & Kimball) I dont know if she's lost & cant find her way back home.... or if someone dumped her😪
She is very friendly and had to have been someone's kitty at some point.

Are they perfect. No? Do sometimes they often have medical issue due to their rough start to life, almost always yes. But they are the best, dogs, cats or otherwise. 💜

With 2023 coming to a close things are winding down a bit for us. 🤞🏻 We currently have 12 total fosters.

3 kittens (two with potential homes). One one hold due to ringworm.
2 pairs of bonded adult cats.
5 Long term fosters.

We adopted out roughly 40 total kittens/cats this year. (That number does not count relocates after altering for barn cats.) Nearly every single one required medical attention. Some more than others.

We neutered 17 males and spayed 23 females. These are all cats of kitten baring age. Some found homes, some found barns and some went back to the original locations they were trapped at. All of these cats also received a Rabies vaccines at the time of their surgery. Some received additional medical care if it was warrented.

Due to the cruel nature of outdoor, feral cat life. There were some cats we had to humanely euthanize as an act of kindness for their situations. I did not keep count on those, but it is a small number, fortunately. We lost some kittens this year, as with every year. Humans can never sufficiently replace a mother feeding and tending to their kittens. But we always try our best.

We have a small, but outstanding, crew of fosters. They take on all tasks big and small and love these animals as if they are their own until they find their forever homes. I am forever grateful for all that they do and the warmth and love they provide! 💜

We also wouldn’t be able to do what we do with out the help of Nathan and Shelbey and the group at Fallon County Vet. They deal with all of our simple cases, emergencies and tragedies. We appreciate the care and support you give!

We definitely couldn’t do what we do with out our community as well! Through everyone’s support of our fundraisers we are able to keep this little project afloat. You all have allowed us to decrease the number of homeless cats in the community, hopefully reducing the spread of disease and allowed many kittens and cats to find a soft loving place to land.

Update 5:30pm 12/27 - Habanero had a meet and greet tomorrow. 🤞🏻 💕💖
🌟 This cream/orange guy is Habanero 🌶️. He’s about 4 months old and has received his first set of vaccines, rabies and has been dewormed a couple of times. He currently is being treated for ringworm while looking for his forever home. If you’re interested, please reach out. He can go to an approved home now if someone is willing to continue treatment or can be held until completely healed. He’s a shy boy, but does prefer to have a friend. 🐾

All the ornaments ordered are done. If I haven’t contacted you, I might have missed your order. Please let me know if I did! We added wings this year to help people commemorate their cats and dogs that have crossed the rainbow bridge. They are no extra cost. I will still gladly make more if you maybe missed my initial posting.

We have lots of kittens ready for homes.

3 Males - Habanero (Orange - 4 months), Impaula (Black and White - 4 months) and Serrano (Long hair grey - 4 months).

3 Females - Aspen (Siamese- 6months still on old for ringworm), Poblano (Tortie - 4 months) and Shish*to (Short hair grey - 4 months).

All have been dewormed. Most have not received vaccines at this time because they were on medical hold or on hold for taming. All are now tame and hopefully we can get them into the vet to start the vaccine process. Aspen will also probably go in for a spay soon as well.

This came from another page that does TNR. We just had a spay that was pretty far along in her pregnancy. But when she was opened up, all kittens were deceased and had been for a while. She was all full of infection. Had her spay not been done, she would have more than likely died a pretty painful death herself. Spaying and neutering your pets protects them in so many ways. Please be vigilant with your pet and try to avoid these types of things.
