Lewiston Art Festival …last day TG not battling 4mph wind! I dislike wind!!

With all my artwork loaded into its proper rubbermaid containers me and hubs went to gas up my beloved jeep and his pickup. Jeep holds all my precious art, pickup holds the entire setup!
Well beloved jeep decided to have a stuck brake caliper on the way home. So our Dodge gets the precious artwork and his old mule Ford F150 gets the setup. Oh well.. wish Jeep had decided to stick the caliper before i filled it with gas to sit home!

Hello Monday! Meet Esmerelda my first Halloween art for 2024. She started her journey as a gourd grown in our garden. Her little broken gourd tea light holder almost got thrown out 5 times then i thought i could use him in something.

Hello Monday… long time since posting. Sometimes real life gets really busy.
Here are the completed murals for the pediatric room of a physicians office.
No projection images are ever used, they are all hand drawn. The office really loves them…always a good thing!

Good Morning all my Faithful Art followers. You won t b seeing me at the Mayday show at the Atrium in the Village Gate in Rochester. Seems your pictures being labeled correctly more important than the quality of your art.
But i have been and will b busy painting these murals in the pediatric exam rooms of a doctors office.

Last art show for me of 2023.
Mayday Underground. The atrium at Village Gate in Rochester NY . November 4 n 5.
Hope to see many old friends and lots of new.
Pic 1 has my Mr moon tree topper. Yes he is on a bottle of wine.. no tree up yet. Hey!! Its just Halloween. The others are my funky paper clay sculpted snowmen and Santas.
A peacock feather ( feathers from our peacock George ) fairie tree. And a few of the 30 Sassy Snoball Ornies.

Stop out to this quaint shop in Medina NY… they ve got some of my Halloween art🎃

Thistle Ridge is open today, Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11 AM to 5 PM to meet all your Halloween needs. Come out and check out the new Lori DeFazio sculptures, witches hats and buttons. They are all the latest Halloween fashions. Happy October!! BTW we also have Osage oranges for $1.00 a piece. We are located in historic downtown Medina, NY at 418 Main Street.

Thank you Lewiston Art Festival for organizing such a wonderful artist friendly show. The weather held out and it was a beautiful weekend.
And a Huge thank you to all my art supporters who came out and enjoyed and supported my wild, unique artistic creations.
The smiles and laughs made my weekend. Which is why i do what i do.
There are still some pieces looking for new homes that i will b posting in a couple days
Got to get life back to normal her and pay extra attention to my doggies who missed me terribly.

Well.. its been awhile. Spent the last week working on a mural at a beautiful pool. The weather cooperated, beautiful location and wonderful homeowner. Doesn t get any better.
So between that and the constant training of Pearl have been too busy for SM.

This butterfly bench is a collaboration between Seabiscuit Metal Designs and myself. They constructed the beautiful bench and im adding my artistic flair to it
Its based on Dolly Parton s song Coat of Many Colors.
Theres a lot more work to b done. Hope she likes it.

Hi Thursday! I ve been busy! 1st is my painting “Fleeing the Freakshow”. THis is a departure from my usual…but wow did i have fun with it.
Next are my goofy sculpted chicken gourds ( gourds courtesy of our garden) next my funky sculpted tissue box holders… because…why not?.
ANd last 2 chickens waiting for their

Artist Spotlight! Dogs Over the Moon Studio

Lori DeFazio is a unique Mixed Media artist. She creates art from found objects and vintage collected pieces. Embelishing each in her signature paper clay sculpture style. Each individual piece is hand created, assembled and painted by her.

She has won awards at various shows with her pieces. Anyone who collects her work knows they are getting unique, never seen before art.

Hi Wednesday….new art.
➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️to see all sides and lighted of “The Fun House”. And of course 2 new funky face vases… which seem to b a favorite.
“Fun House” is a cardboard house mounted on vintage buggy wheel, with old scrollwork accents and i even stained glass the windows.. scroll➡️➡️➡️to see him lit.
He has taken me some time. Construction and sculpting, painting all took longer than i expected but i think he was so worth it. I love it.
