I’m going to be running a winter special on training, due to not being able to get horses out of the arena and on the trails! You will still have the option of me taking your horse to sortings/barrel races

The last time I worked with bullseye trying to get a bit in his mouth he’d try to strike at me, he’d rear over my head, he’d try and run you over, head butt you, drag you, pretty much do anything to not have the bit near him.

Today I grabbed my treat bag and just put a handful of treats in my hands while asking him to take a bit, and he opened his mouth right up and took it. No fighting or anything! He eventually learned that the bit wasn’t going to hurt him, and by the end of our session he was taking it without treats. He’s definitely a smart one!

“Redy” is a 7 year old Arabian mare. She is registered, but her most recent owner did not receive the papers. She has all of her ground work done, and is lightly started under saddle. She is selling as green broke, but it doesn’t take much to train her. She has been rode down the road ba****ck, rode to the coffee shop, has been around traffic, rode in the arena, and has been out on the trails! She has done walk, trot, and canter with no buck or funny business. She stands around 14.1 and would be best suited for a smaller rider because she’s small. She is UTD on shots, wormer, and trimming.

I will be headed to Washington next week, and can bring her with!

“Sam” is a 18 year old gelding. Sam was not broke until he was 8 years old, and was just a horse you’d grab for a fun ride, so his legs are sturdy and he still has a lot of life in him! He definitely is not one that has been run into the ground. He requires a confident rider. Under supervision of someone who can teach how to ride, he would be good with a beginner. Sam is UTD on all his vaccinations. He is an amazing trail horse, and I’ve never had any issues with him. He leads, he follows, and he rides out alone. He has never had shoes on before, but has tough feet that can handle the rocky terrain. He’s an absolute lover, and just needs to find his forever home with someone who will give him the attention he deserves. He loads, and ties great. Debora lay owns him, so you know he has great feet, and stands like an angel! He has been introduced to cattle before, and they don’t seem to bother him. He’s not fancy broke. He’s just a great trail horse. He does walk trot, and has loped before but he’s unsure about it. Come check this amazing guy out!

“Malibu” is a 5 year old bay mare. She has had a handful of rides now, and nothing really seems to bother her, as you can see by the pictures. This little mare has amazing bloodlines, but unfortunately her mom passed so getting her papers will be tricky. This mare will only go to an approved home. I do not want her going to someone who is just going to flip her to make a quick buck. Her first time with a saddle she never flinched, and her first ride she acted as if she’s been doing it her whole life. This is a very nice mare with a great demeanor. Unfortunately my husband just needs something else, and I can’t see having her sit in my pasture for me to ride when I’m not riding my others.

“River” is a 13 year old registered AQHA mare. She has amazing blood lines, and has been bred before, and throws color. She is very cowy, and has been used on ranches her whole life! She knows how to work a flag, and gather cattle. She worked on a feedlot for long hours every day. She’s had a few years off, so she needs a tune up, or you could throw her into your breeding program! Her owner is getting out of horses, and just wants to find her a good home.

“May” is a 6 year old APHA paint mare. She is not registered as of right now, but can be. Both her parents papers are listed in her description. She was green broke, and then thrown out to pasture for a few years. I recently pulled her out of the field and started working with her a little. I have gotten on her ba****ck with a halter and lead rope, and with a saddle. She doesn’t remember how to move forward on her own, but if someone leads her she does great! Her owner is getting out of horses, and wants to find her a good home. She is a super sweet mare that loves attention

When I started working blue, he would run you right over, had no education on moving off body pressure, and didn’t know how to back up when being lead. This first day I was shoving on him with all my body weight just trying to get him to get off me, and back up. This video is from the end of session two! He is now walking with me, stopping, backing when I back, and moving off my pressure, all while being loose in the arena. He has a bright future ahead of him!

“Max” is a gorgeous grade 15 year old paint gelding. He stands at 15.3 hands. I have personally known this horse for almost 10 years. I personally have done breakaway, daubing, sorting, and in hand trail with him. I have also rode him on many trails for easy, to hard. He’s a very in your pocket horse and loves to be loved. His owners have had him since he was 6 months old, but due to certain circumstances they sadly have to rehome him. They will be very picky on who he goes to. Come check this dude out! You’ll get looks everywhere you go. Can deliver for extra cost!

Stormy is a 20 year old Arabian mare. She is not a kids horse, but could be with work. You can get on her and ride her, she doesn’t buck or bolt. She’s just a mare. She hasn’t been rode in quite sometime, so she’s picked up some habits, but didn’t do to bad when I got on her

“Duke” is an 18 year old registered half Arab/half quarter. Don’t let the age fool you though! The only thing that’ll make you think this horse isn’t 12 is his papers. Super sweet gelding. I just brought him here from Washington for a friend, and hoped on him ba****ck and took him to calf creek and he was great! Definitely a horse that can cover some trail. He stands about 16 hands tall. He has an English and western background, and with the previous owners he was just a trail horse. The vet always says how healthy he looks!

Bianca is a grade 13 yr old solid paint mare and stands at 14.3hh. She bathes, trailers, stands for farrier, clippers, ext. Currently barefoot, But gets front shoes on w/regular riding. She has been used for 4h, wahset, and open shows. She has been rode english/western/in-hand/ba****ck/trail. She has more woah than go, not suited for drill or gaming. She has some behavioral issues needing to work through. Having been out to pasture mostly for the last year needs a tune up. She is very stubborn and not the most willing for work currently. Needs someone assertive but gentle and patient. She makes a great mare when in shape/consistently worked. Still does very well with showmanship right now
