This page will become dormant in the near future...

I had planned to do a "tell all" I was bitter. Lies were being told about me and I wanted to defend myself and go even further and show that guilty people are often the loudest accusers. I wanted to shout the actual facts from rooftops, do a video with everyone involved, go live, invite ALL questions from the public, face my accusers, the works...but God. I need say nothing more. But God.

I will update you and tell you that I plan to recover your donation money. $650 was used from the donations in an attempt to trademark my work last week. That money will need returned for the continued work of the rescue. I have a list of donation funds to be recovered.

Moving forward we STILL HAVE THE SAME URGENT NEEDS.

Our Amazon Needs List is pinned to the top of the page. 🚨 We have lost several large cages during the division. We need 44"-48" crates for nursing mothers and holding areas post TNR!!! It's not worth me trying to recover my personal property. We will rebuild. It took me 5 months the first time, with your help. We CAN do this again! 😻

It is business as usual here. We are assisting with trapping and TNR 6 this Monday and Tuesday. We're in consultation with a trapping need for pregnant females in Baden. We are about to start a project of trapping 40!!!!!! Kittens kittens kittens....oh the kitten calls 🫣

We rely on you to continue the work in our community with the street cats. Please donate through our Amazon Needs List or our temporary PayPal. Message us for the link. We have an accountant on board now and full transparency is the plan moving forward. 🚨 We need volunteers!!!!!!!! 🚨

The same needs. The same work. The same goals. The name might change, but it is the same group of volunteers since we started this October 12. We all thought we were reviving a dormant rescue.... now we are building something new TOGETHER. Stay tuned...

Kitten season is upon us. Our first foster is getting ready for the arrival of our first litter of the season. We will have kittens up for adoption 😻

We still need supplies! I lost a few of our cages in the division and separation. I'm delivering a cage to our foster and I still need at minimum 2 more for nursing mothers and litters. 44-48" long work best.

5 kitties went today for spay and neuter. These 2 were just the bees knees!!!! Siblings. It was a great day and now 5 more felines will not be contributing to the community cat colonies.

Guardians of an established feral cat colony in Lawrence County are raising funds to secure reliable shelter for the nearly two dozen animals.

There is a GoFundMe Link at the bottom of the article. Once there is enough money to purchase the shed, I will message Sam Barry Jr again, if I haven't already heard from him. He has seen the larger shed that I'm interested in. He said he will ask the Board. I remain hopeful.

Delivery, site prep, construction, modification. My cost "estimate" was based on the shelter to be complete and fully functional. 3 small subsections of a large colony of 19 will be sheltering together, for the first time and without choice.

Please share this and let's get these ladies exactly what they need for these kitties.

I'm not expecting the golf course to pay...I just hope they will allow a purchased shed at the edge of the woods.

Join our guest speaker at the Beaver County Humane Society to learn about the importance of TNR and the impact it has on the community! This class is going to be offered once a month, but you must sign up online to reserve your space.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the practice of humanely trapping a feral cat and having them spayed/neutered, ear-tipped, and vaccinated against rabies. The animal is then released back in the area where they were trapped. Our goal is to give every cat a better life without adding to an already-known population problem.

This class is scheduled for March 18th, from 1 PM to 3 PM. You can sign up for the class here: https://beavercountyhumanesociety.org/tnr-classes/

Residents of Beaver County who attend this class will receive a TNR voucher for a stray/feral only. Limit 1 voucher per household for residents of Beaver County ONLY.

Providing daily food and water, a small shelter, is a complete lifeline. YOU are the lifeline. If you feed, please fix. Even if you don't feed, please fix. Even starving cats reproduce. 😪😪😪

They are only trying to survive.

The bottom line is this...

If you love cats, please get them fixed. If you hate cats, please get them fixed and keep the population down. There will be rotating free clinics all spring and summer, all over beaver county... and if not free, low cost.

These are the things we face. It could have been so different...it SHOULD have been different. Peyton didn't deserve the life that was forced upon him. NONE of them do. I'm having nightmares every night now about cats. It's destroying my heart seeing all of these "nobody's cats". They have a little shelter that we provide, and eat once a day because we feed them. Constantly in survival mode... trying to escape the evils out on the streets. Rescue work breaks your heart over and over.

Peyton passed away in our shelter last night.

He came to us just yesterday, a weary soul found in a barn. Fourteen years old, underweight, half an ear missing, and struggling to breathe. His microchip, dating back to 2009, was a silent witness to a life that once was – a life that had somewhere turned bleak and lonely.

In his final hours, Peyton experienced moments of love and care that had been missing for so long. We cleaned his crusted nose, combed out his matts, and he purred, basking in the affection he so deserved. He clung to our warmth, his body going limp with trust and perhaps, relief.

This morning, we found him gone, his struggle quietly ended in the comfort of a soft blanket and a full belly. His departure is a profound reminder of the countless animals who face similar fates, animals whose stories go untold, whose lives end without a whisper.

Peyton's story is a glimpse into the harsh realities faced by many animals. It's a testament to the resilience and enduring hope they possess, even in the face of neglect and abandonment. It underscores the vital role shelters play – not just as a place of refuge, but as a final sanctuary where love and care are given, even if just for a moment.

As we mourn Peyton, let's remember the countless others like him. Each day, shelters across the country are filled with animals waiting for a second chance, for a family, for a home. They wait for someone to notice them, to care, to extend a hand of kindness.

Peyton's story is not just about loss; it's about awareness, compassion, and the bitter-sweet role shelters play in the lives of animals. In sharing his story, we hope to shed light on the unseen struggles and to inspire a community of care and support for these innocent lives.

Rest in peace, Peyton. In your final hours, you were surrounded by love, and your story will not be forgotten.

This is such heartwarming innocent life. Investigating her first sunbeam. Her mama was trapped and scheduled for TNR.... she was a baby herself at only 6 months old. A baby having babies. The TNR was cancelled. The kittens were born inside. Mama was socialized. Her 4 babies and mama, Lily, have lived together safe and loved. Lily recently crossed Rainbow Bridge before she reached 7 years, after battling cancer. This kitten, Bubbles, never knew what her mama went through because of TNR advocates. Her path was headed to be born outside.... but because someone was practicing TNR the whole family was saved. I trapped Lily... and I will never ever forget everything she taught me about "ferals", and love.
