Every woman (and man, too!) needs a wife! Having been a mother, grandmother, and retired teacher, I have so many skills that involve family and home.

Need that extra help sometimes around the house, taking care of the kids while you work in your home office, organizing a room, whatever help you need, I'm here for you! These are skills that I love and so many others have appreciated. Now I am offering them up to you--skills that can give you that extra help when you need it! Someone you can count on--that's me! There are times you just need some

extra help, you know what they are: someone who can come in and help out with family issues. It could be picking up your child at school, making sure she gets to the doctor on time, or getting him to his dance/sports class. It could be house sitting, cleaning & organizing your home for company. It could be walking your dog, or tutoring your child for a project or test coming up. The sky is the limit, just think of it, and I'll make it happen for you!

In the last six months or more, I have found myself moving into a Personal Driver role with Lyft and Uber position. I enjoy driving and people, so those are two good reasons! I love my city of Portland and enjoy the driving and seeing all of the things that are going on. I live vicariously through my riders and the events they are attending. I have been a tour guide to visitors to our city, have been a listening ear to those who were going through painful situations, and have shared in their joys from getting raises from work to reuniting old friends to taking people to the airport flying off to Europe or Ha'waii! It's been a lot of fun!

I am finally settled into my own new home and happy about it. If you need help moving, cleaning, house sitting and getting ready for a move or spring (oops, summer) cleaning, write/call/text me! I'm here for you! Ruthie to the Rescue!

I am finishing up a wonderful house/dog sitting gig in Netarts, Oregon. I will be in Trondheim, Norway October 29th to the 7th of January, 2015. If you are in Norway and need some rescue-ing...FB me. I will be volunteering in an International School in Trondheim, visiting family, traveling, and enjoying the Norwegian/Norsk culture. I am looking forward to this adventure very much! The rest of my U.S. clientele will have to wait for me till January! Keep in touch!

This month I am house sitting for a client in Portland. This is a wonderful service that is needed with people who enjoy traveling and exploring with peace of mind knowing someone is going to take care of the house, cat, dog, goats, mail, plants/garden/flowers, etc. Call me if you need me. I still have openings in August!
