Our Bellbrook office will be closing at noon tomorrow to allow for new flooring to be installed. Please call today if you need any medications refilled before the weekend. Our doors will be open during the afternoon for medication/food pickup, but only medications filled prior to noon can be dispensed due to not having access to our pharmacy area once the demolition begins at lunchtime. Our Centerville office will be open during our normal business hours of 8am - 6pm.

We have exciting news! A new veterinarian is being added to our staff! Though you just might already recognize her as she's worked as a registered veterinary technician at Covenant since 2016! Dr. Benasutti was born and raised in Fairborn, Ohio. Upon graduating from Fairborn High School, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as an active-duty mental health technician. She then graduated from Sinclair's Veterinary Technology program with an associates of applied science degree in veterinary technology and joined the Covenant team in 2016 as a registered veterinary technician. While continuing to work part time at the clinic during summers and school breaks, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2023. Dr. Benasutti has a special interest in feline medicine, low stress veterinary care as well as soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, rock climbing, gardening, and traveling. She and her husband Trevor reside in Spring Valley with their 3 cats, Kikki, Merry and Jinx. She starts on Monday July 3rd! Lets give her a warm welcome!

We couldn't be any more proud of these two for graduating last week! Paris has been a veterinary assistant at Covenant since 2019. She just graduated from Sinclair's veterinary technology program. Mary has been a registered veterinary technician with us since 2016. She has worked seasonally the past four years due to pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. She starts back at Covenant as a DVM in just a few short weeks! Let's offer all the love and support to these two amazing employees of ours!

Today starts Veterinary Receptionist Week! Join us in appreciating our amazing receptionists: Courtney, Genevieve, Stephanie, Laura, & Kelli. We can't forget our hybrid employees, Vanessa & Ellen, who routinely work both as receptionists and assistants! As the public-facing part of vet hospitals, receptionists often bear the frustrations of pet owners but infrequently get recognition or thanks for their crucial role in our pets’ care. Without them, veterinary practices would halt, making it impossible for your pet to visit a doctor. Let’s be grateful for them. Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week!

Teddy came in for his neuter procedure a few weeks ago. He was perfectly content hanging out on the counter next to our support staff all afternoon while he recovered from surgery!
