Thankfully he was a very good sport about it and agreed that his car could use the bath!

It's Horse Camp time!

The first day of camp was filled with grooming, showmanship, riding, stall cleaning, making stepping stones & pool noodle horses, riding on the giant water slide, playing bingo, and making new friends!

Unfortunately...we were really busy and didn't many pictures but we'll do better tomorrow. :)

We still have a few openings in our beginner riding program for youth ages 5-12 who have a future interest in competitive riding!

Lessons are typically one hour, on Sundays, between 9:30 AM-3:30 PM, in a small group session, and are $50.

Our lesson horses are the best in the business for teaching young children in our state of the art facility that offers indoor, heated, riding arenas.

Children provide helmets, jeans, and boots the rest is covered by us!

Students are asked to attend a minimum of every-other week.
For more information or to schedule an initial tour call/ text our introductory riding instructor Andrea Tufo at 570-713-9298.

We have an open spot and are on the lookout for a class 14 rider‼️ This is currently the only division we are looking to fill. If you or anyone you know think you’d fall into this division PLEASE reach out to an officer as soon as possible! Thank you!

Congratulations to Coach Chris and all of our mounted shooters!

Congratulations to Coach Chris and all of our mounted shooters!

Is our coach the coolest or what?? 😎

Our coach Chris and his horse, Curly, won the Overall, Overall Cowboy, Men's Level 6, and Clean Shooter at the New York State CMSA Shoot! Coach had a very successful season but rumor has it he’s just been missing us all summer🤫🥱

See ya on September 5th for tryouts, Chris! 💙🤍

Our team would not be possible without our amazing lesson horses! With some nearing retirement, we are in need of lesson horse donations. If you or anyone you know has a horse in mind, please reach out to our Coach, Chris Mcelyea.

But seriously, how cool would it be to be able to say your horse is a part of the Penn State Western Equestrian team?! 😎😎

Indoor arenas are not only for riding. When it's raining during camp it's time to bring out the parachute & beach balls!

The horses weren't bothered by it at all. They were just happy the kids were engaged in a non-horse related activity for a few minutes!

"Classtoom time" during Summer Horse Camp can mean a lot of things. It's where we play horse-term bingo, tie-dye helmet bags, clean tack, design our own horse farms, color, make jewelry, paint, get messy, and have fun!

During Horse Camp we focus on the fundamentals that are often unable to be learned during typical riding lessons such as horse baths, stall cleaning, visiting the veterinarian or ferrier, etc.

We also like to take the time to ensure that grooming and tacking techniques are spot on!

However it's HORSE CAMP so we like to take time out, climb in the saddle and enjoy our horses!

This is the second time Coach April has visited us for Summer Horse Camp and helped us with our roping skills and we couldn't be happier!

Keep an eye on your dog's, flower pots, and toddlers! These kiddos are learning to rope and are willing to practice on anything!
