Gene Bruno, OMD, LAc, FABAA
Dr Gene BrunoIn 1971, Gene was one of the Directors of the Veterinary Acupuncture Research Project of the National Acupuncture Association (NAA), which introduced Animal Acupuncture into the United States for the first time. During this time he worked directly with Veterinarians, teaching them the basics of acupuncture and how it could be used to treat small and large animals. This led to the establishment of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Association (IVAS) in 1974.

Dr. Bruno was a member of the group of acupuncturists who founded the first two schools of Acupuncture in the United States. He is the past president of the American Association of Oriental Medicine. In addition to the extensive research on developing animal acupuncture, Dr. Bruno has done research at Harvard Medical School and at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, looking into the practical applications of acupuncture for the treatment of pain.

Dr. Bruno is the founder and a director of the American Board of Animal Acupuncture and currently teaches animal acupuncture at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Arizona. Dr. Bruno uses the Brandenburg Laser on horses and small animals, and has found it superior to other lasers on the market.

Just a heads up to people looking to buy the half price Red and White laser like Brandenburg Equine sold, that is NOT the Brandenburg laser. It has been copied right down even using my protocols on treatment. I had 2 phone calls asking to buy the half price Brandenburg laser. The laser is not manufactured or have any warranty with Brandenburg Equine. They are using my name and hard work to sell it. Look at thier videos they use one way but the voice over says to use it a different way. do as you wish But buyer beware. Only Brandenburg Equine and a select few Veterinary colleges sell my laser.

I love the new cold laser device. So far I have used it for my little border collie (cut on her head); my Siberian/Collie cross (torn ACL); and me (deep cut on my arm). Tony was so nice and helpful and I appreciated his personal help. My vet converted your specifications into Jules and told me how long to treat all of us. I was introduced to the quality of your cold laser brand when I was in Castle Rock Co and a show jumper friend was using it. Thank you for the very professional device and advice.

Its a exciting and frustrating time at Brandenburg Equine. As some of you know, some of my products have been copied and are now being made and sold from Chinese companies. That with surply off parts, getting harder to find, I have had to revamp and change some things. In about 10-14 days I will have the release of the new 3B cold laser. Same strength and warranty just a different case and color. Please be patent as we finalize everything. I promise you, it will be worth the wait.

So a video was taken of my working on one of my yearlings that I am wanting to help grown and fill out. Did you realize that often a horses bones quicker then the muscles and other soft tissues? Because the soft tissue is tight, it can inhibit the movement of the horse and make them uncomfortable. Have you heard of growing pains? The same thing can happen with horses in competition. Muscles get tight from excursion. This was first time massaging this young horse, would you not like to help your horse with out having to pay others? Link in comments
