Cedar Creek Canine Center, Inc Cedar Creek Canine Center is your "PET CAMP" in the Country. We offer Boarding, Grooming, Doggy Day In 1973, Andy A.
(26)

Zoll, started the business which is now known as Cedar Creek Canine Center, Inc. Andy graduated from Ohio State University with a
Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Zoology. Andy went on to pursue his dream of training and competing English pointers and setters as a professional in the American Field Horseback Trials. During his growing up years, Andy and his father, Dr. Andrew F. Zoll, DDS,

bred, trained and competed their own English pointers in Amateur Stakes. In 1972, Andy established himself as a Professional Bird Dog Trainer, training all hunting
breeds, but continuing to compete in the American Field Trial Horseback Trials for his owners. His father continued as an Amateur, and Andy and Dr. Zoll traveled and competed together for many years. In 2003 when Dr. Zoll's health started failing, Andy retired from the traveling circuit so he would be able to care for his father. Andy has continued to train Field Trial and all hunting breeds on his home grounds. In 1985, Andy and Becky Zoll extended the business to include boarding and grooming, started out in a small 12' x 12' building. In 1990, their current boarding facility was opened in December. During this time, the business was called Cedar Creek Kennel. In the last 26 years the business has been expanded and now consists of Boarding, Grooming, Doggy Daycare, Obedience Training, Agility, "In- Home" Behavioral Training, Certified Canine Massage, "All Natural" Doggy Bakery, and
Professional Bird Dog Training. June 1, 2010 Andy and Becky incorporated the business and the new name is Cedar Creek Canine Center, Inc. We have been very fortunate that we can say that we are a Family Business with our son, Andy K, and his wife Cassie and our daughter Jenny Zoll-Resendez all working with us. At times, our oldest son Jason and grandkids Cody, Jordyn and Drew all help out when needed. We see in our
younger generation some terrific dog trainers
developing.

We have some news. Sad in one way but good in another way. February 16, 2024 will be the last day our Doggy Daycare will open..After 22 years Cassie is stepping out of the role of dog wrangler. Andy and I have been blessed to have her part of the business for all these years. She has been a real asset in many, many ways and we will miss her smiling face everyday. Lucky for us she is married to our son Andy, who manages our business and he will continue with us. I know the dogs and all of our clients that have worked with Cassie will also miss her greatly. She is starting a new adventure working in Columbus at a medical office. She will be absolutely perfect for the job. There are times were we would like to just turn back the clock. This is one of those time. Not only has Cassie been a wonderful daughter-in-law but a wonderful, compassionate, caring person. We hope you all wish her the very, very best in her new adventure. We are still doing Boarding, grooming, dog obedience and Cassie will continue, she hopes, with some agility. Thank you all for wishing Cassie the best. Becky and Andy Zoll

This is Benny.
His mother is a Shiba Inu/Akita mix and we believe his father is an Australian cattle dog.
He is 11 months old and in the 50lb range.
Benny is an extremely sweet and loving dog, and very good with kids. He is very active and athletic. He would be great in a home that had a yard for him to play in or a farm. He barks at strangers but has gotten much better with that since we took him for a two week training course with Andy from Cedar Creek. We are looking for a new home for him because of our demanding work schedules, coupled with our lack of proper space for him in our downtown apartment. We love him very much and as difficult as this is, we recognize that he deserves a better home that can accommodate his needs more adequately than we can. We can provide more pictures if you are interested in him.

We. Have. Dogs. Here's one: It's Eldon, our senior sweetheart. ❀️ He is SO handsome!!! πŸ₯°

Eldon came to us through our humane agents after his owner could no longer care for him. This sweet boy is about 8 years old, and loves people. He loves balls and stuffed animals, and is happy to show them to you proudly. Eldon is very stressed here at the shelter after being in a home for the last 8 years. He seems to do fine with most dogs, and is untested with cats. This good boy hopes to find a loving home soon!

I am really happy to tell everyone that we have hired a second groomer. Her name is Alice and she has groomed for 30 years. She will start out working two Saturdays a month and also Thursday evenings. We have never done evenings before but glad to add it. Courtney, our full time groomer is thankfully still with us but her schedule is full until next year. April is still bathing, drying, dematting and completely prepping the dogs for Courtney. I feel very blessed to have them on the team. Call 419 886 4030 if you would like to set an appointment. We do require a copy of veterinarian vaccines for Rabies, Dhlpp and Bordatella. Thanks, Becky Zoll

Very good read, and totally spot on

Very good read, and totally spot on

We need to talk.

We had two dogs returned today and we also heard from two of our fosters. They all had the same observation. The recently seized eighty dogs all have something in common. They do not trust men. We can speculate why this is but ultimately the "why" really doesn't matter.

We need to talk about the rule of three. Dogs that come from our shelter have "issues." They are not insurmountable by any means, but they are issues that will NOT go away overnight, or in a week, or in a month. Below is a very basic, very borrowed guide, of a timeline for an adopted shelter dog to adapt. Sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes, when we are lucky, it takes less time.

If you do not have endless amounts of patience, then adopting a dog from a shelter may not be for you. And that is OK. But, if you are in it for the long haul, warts and all, with potential setbacks and obstacles, we highly encourage you to check out our very special adoptables here: www.adoptourstrays.com/ouranimals/adoptables. Every single one of them is worth the effort. Promise. ❀️

This handsome boy was removed from a motel room today by our humane agents after his owners checked out and left him behind. Their loss. He's a total sweetheart.

Not available yet, but we thought you would appreciate the eye candy. He's gorgeous. 🀩
