My Facebook account has been hacked and is being used to make rude, crude, and disrespectful comments on posts. I have opted to voluntarily close my account as opposed to offending Friends and close acquaintances.

Golden Words of Wisdom

I was recently asked who’s methods I use. My answer was…..I use my method. My method was developed through trial and error, reading, observing and most importantly listening to some great old boys. These guys weren’t famous and never put on a clinic in their life. Matter of fact they never showed or explained a darn thing to me. But what they did was make me think. Thoughts like “never let a horse know they’re faster than you, huh? I watched these guys around horses and was awestruck with what they could do with the least amount of equipment(and they weren’t showing they were making a living). Just because someone doesn’t have a big name doesn’t mean you can’t learn from them and that they can’t teach you something. Methods are great but learning the basic principles are far more important in my book. If you know and understand the principles of horsemanship you will be able to develop your own method. Who knows someday you may be the one everyone is buying the videos from. Does it really matter where you learned it? If the horse turns out good and you work with the horse and not have the horse work for you is it wrong? I don’t believe any method is wrong and never gave much care for a piece of paper that says you’re certified. Shoot I have a piece of paper that says I’m a college graduate oh boy. That means nothing except I completed some courses with acceptable knowledge of them. It’s not until you live in the real world that you learn if you’ve got what it takes. Degrees and certifications don’t tell much about a person it’s their actions and their character that determines if they’re worthy or not. So don’t judge someone on who’s method they learned. Look at the results. The horses will tell you who’s capable and who’s not…..it’s that simple.
