Had a customer come into the store today to return a Stock Tank Sinking Deicer that was purchased 02/12/21 during the ice storm. At the time folks were told all sales final due to the weather conditions on products like this. Tommy asked why it was being returned she said it did not fit. He then asked why so long to return and she said life happens. When looking at the product it had been opened and there was mud on the box that did not come from the store but she swears it had not been used. If I allowed the return of the product it would sit on the shelf until next winter and if he took it back there was a 20% restocking fee. Her final response was so you are not going refund the money, the answer was No. She said I will never shop here again (did not recognize her as a regular customer) and Facebook followers would love to know.

My question to you all. Should the money have been returned or not?
