If anybody is looking for a furry friend or two, we have several that are more than ready for their forever homes.
1. Stella & Guinness, female bonded guinea pigs
2. Frank & Milo, male bonded guinea pigs
3. Ash, female lop bunny, gets along with Midnight well, litter box trained, friendly
4. Midnight, female rex bunny, gets along with Ash, litter box trained, friendly
5. Lady Glittersparkles, female lop, beautiful blue eyes, partially litter box trained, gets along with Poppy, friendly, came to us with a hole in one of her ears - doesn't bother her
6. Poppy, female lop, partially litter box trained, friendly, gets along with Lady Glittersparkles
7. Nugget, unaltered male lop, partially litter box trained, very friendly

It's taken me 6 years of being a nurse to realize I can't help every single person. It's taken me 6 years of taking in animals to realize I can't help every single fur baby. This is still a hard pill for me to swallow many days...my big heart just wants to help everybody and every animal. Some days I feel defeated - like a failure for not being able to help or like I'm not doing enough. Then I have moments like below and realize I'm doing my best and just trying to make a difference ❤️

Update on Ranger who came to us in April - has gained weight, made some friends and absolutely loves his grain and treats ❤️

Bentley is looking for his forever home. He is an 8 year old soft coated wheaton terrier, neutered. He was a rescue from Colorado and was in pretty poor shape. He's had extensive dental work done and is doing great. He's a wonderful companion, loves people, does take a few days to warm up when introduced to new dogs. Potty trained, doesn't go in the house. He loves attention and would do well with somebody that could be home more than not.

I can't express in words how much you will be missed. Even though you've only been with us about a year, you've made a lasting impression. Despite all of your medical conditions over the past year, you were always so happy, gentle, sweet and wanting to be everybody's buddy....hence your name from us "Buddy"

It has definitely been difficult around here lately with some of our high risk horses. Please keep Buddy in your thoughts and prayers. He is very sick, the vet isn't sure what's causing this and his prognosis has drastically declined. He is being transferred to ISU today.

Our sweet Seze was transferred to ISU today for further testing on her eye. She is getting a CT done on Thursday. Praying for good news 🙏

We have a few animals that are ready for their furever homes. We will have more as they are cleared by the vet. Reminder: our animals go on contract (if it doesn't work out or you can't keep them, they come back to us).
Lola: estimated to be born end of June this year. Came to us with ear mites, fleas, and upper respiratory infection. All has been cleared by the vet and she has her vaccinations. She has become quite the sweetheart. She will climb all over you if you let her.
Stella and Guinness: 2 female guinea pigs, are bonded and must stay together, unsure of age

$648 donated today - that's just over a month of hay for us!! You guys rock! Thank you so much for coming out, supporting our mission, and loving on our fur babies (minus Fickle who decided she wanted to be a little naughty 😑). Poptart loved all the attention the most I think 🥰

So excited to see you guys Sunday! Come love on our animals and learn about our mission. Nature walk around the property, take pictures with our fur babies, get temporary tattoos, grab snacks, and complete our scavenger hunt for a prize!!

Come visit us September 3, 11 am to 2 pm. Mental health day! Activities (temporary tattoo station, take a picture station, meet/pet/feed some of our animals, etc) and of course snacks 😉
Did you know we currently house 27 animals from guinea pigs to horses? Some are ready for adoption and will be able to meet on site. Please note all of our animals require application as well as contract.

Hi all! I have 2 asks of the community. First, I did start a gofundme for the sanctuary. We are a registered nonprofit so donations are tax deductible. Would love to make a quarantine pen and also make a better home for the small critters as I have had several surrenders recently.
Secondly, if anybody wants some volunteer hours I could use some help on the weekends when I do the deep cleans of the stalls, small animal cages, unload feed and hay, bathe horses, etc.
Thank you! I truly appreciate all the love and support! I will put together some mental health days soon with animal loving and activities...just have been super swamped!
