We just wanted to share a short video of some of our “cats in the back” starting off their weekend with a bit of bird watching. We hope your weekend gets off to a great start as well!
We told you the story of Artie a couple of weeks ago. He’s an 8 year old cat who after being rescued, had to have his teeth and one eye removed. That doesn’t stop him for being an affectionate and loving cat. We thought we would show you what happens after spending a little time getting to know him. If you listen closely you can hear him purring! Stop in and meet him to see if he is the right fit for you. We are open everyday 12-4. If you need to come in outside of those hours we can make that happen!
Happy Friday everyone!! 😸 This is sweet Delilah who’s at work making the best biscuits in town! She’s one of our “cat’s in the back” as she takes some time to warm up to you, but once she does she’s as sweet as can be! Could her forever home be with you?? Stop in anytime from 12pm-4pm and ask one of our amazing volunteers to meet this sweet girl! 🏡 😸❤️
Sunday Smile bought to you by Bob and his kick stick. We hope you have as great a day as Bob did.
We received a call from a gentleman who heard the tiny cries of an animal in distress. When he went to investigate, he found a 2 week old kitten in his shed, all by himself. It’s hard to say how long he had been without his mother, as he was very skinny. But still very vocal! Thank goodness for those cries.
When the kitten arrived at Tabby Town, we found he was not only hungry, but he was covered in flea dirt. We gave him a bath, fed him, and then reached out to foster mom, Danielle, who was taking care of cat mom Honey, who had recently given birth to her own kittens. She is a good mother to them, and we were hoping that she would accept the new baby as her own.
We have wonderful news to report that she accepted him right away, and he fits right in with the rest of the babies. It was so heartwarming to see this. One day, he was an orphan and didn't have any family. The next day, he had a mom and four siblings to grow up with!
The expression on his face looks like he just realized what we already knew - he now has a family to call his own. Welcome home, little Bryce!🥰
See more cute videos of Bryce and his new family in the comments. ❤️ Sound on for additional cuteness!
A newly adopted kitten named Celine, purring perfectly in tune to a beautiful song, just for her! The gift of music, with a new home and family . ❤️🎶
A message from Thomasina.
Sweet Mom "Flour" had 8 little baby buns by 6:05 this morning!! 🍼🐾What a beautiful way to wake up. Birthing foster mom Tammy started with her at 3:00 in the morning and helped her through the night. Eight is enough she said!! Each one as beautiful as the next. She is proudly caring for all of them this morning and resting as she can in between. Tammy, who is also the Tabby Town groomer, is giving her a helping hand. Good job baby girl. This is your best litter and will be your last!! We will help care for you now. All of you!!!
This is Delilah who came to us from one of our rescue partners West Side Cat Rescue. She is a dilute tortie, about 2 1/2 years old and as you can see from her picture, it looks like she’s smiling and dreaming of being in her forever home.
She can be quiet in the beginning, but the way to win her over is through food. She absolutely loves her wet food and you will be her best friend if you give her some.
She is very affectionate, and she has actually been known to fall over, roll around and spin in circles until you give her the attention that she wants. As an added bonus, she has the cutest little squeaky voice!
If you would like to be the one to fulfill her dream of giving her a forever home, please come meet her.
Stop in any day 12pm-4pm. Adoption times outside of our regular hours are also available if needed. Please call our adoption center 716-822-4910 or email us at [email protected].
