It is with a very heavy heart that we had to accept the sad truth that there wasn't anything else that we could do to treat our beloved clinic kitty, Zeb. Zeb has been in renal failure for several months and no longer responding to treatments. He was the first baby we saw each morning and the last one each evening. He was the sweetest, most loving cat ever and we will miss him terribly. The clinic won't be the same without him here. Zeb, you were our happiest hello and our saddest goodbye. We love you and will miss you until we meet again.

We would like to congratulate our very own Caitlyn Westfall for successfully taking and passing the VTNE test yesterday. She has worked very hard in school, on top of working full time and taking care of her four children. We are very proud of her.

UPDATE: the estimate they gave us for power restoration is 2:00, so we are closing until 1:30 this afternoon.
When we came in this morning the power was out. Not sure when it will be restored. So we have no phones, computers, lights, etc. we will keep everyone updated.

🏀Tomorrow is FULKY NIGHT!! 🏀Woohoo it is finally here!!!🙌🏻 VFL John Fulkerson will be at Boonies from 4pm-8pm signing autographs, taking photos and hosting a silent auction of Vols memorabilia. 100% of those proceeds will be going to Isiah House and the Animal Shelter of Sullivan County. There will representatives from both organizations present. There will also be a very special doggo in attendance who is looking for a furever family!!! 💙 Boonies will also be donating 10% of profits to the organizations. So please come out and support.

If your pet needs medication to help with anxiety due to fireworks on the 4th of July, now is the time to call the clinic to get them filled. We will be closed from June 23-June 30 and unable to fill any prescriptions during that time.

April is Heartworm Prevention Month.
Heartworms are large worms that form infections in the arteries of dogs and cats, ultimately leading to problems in major organs. Despite popular misconceptions, these worms are not found in the intestines and will not be seen in your pet's stool.
According to the 2022 American Heartworm Society Incidence Map, Tennessee ranks in the top 10 states for heartworm disease!
This disease is easily preventable with monthly heartworm preventative. Have a heart and ask about heartworm preventative at your next vet visit!
