We have officially brought in the clean up crew! Chickens are hard at work eating any veggies that froze that we failed to harvest, turning up dirt, and eating all the bugs they can find!

Produce sales are sadly now closed until next season!

If you have bagged leaves you plan to throw away, let me know and I’ll come pick them up or you’re welcome to drop off! Leaves make excellent compost for our large garden!

The season is coming to an end soon! Get your veggies before it’s too late! We have lots of tomato’s left and limited supply of tomatillos, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, Anaheim’s and jalapeños!

Found 4 of these horned worms on ONE tomato plant! I’ve never had this big of an issue with these buggers til this year! My chickens aren’t sad about it!

Our melons are getting HUGE! Hoping to have some ready to sell in the next 2 weeks! There is limited supply so we are creating a list of those interested and will contact you as they ripen to ensure you get them fresh off the vine. Honey dew and Crenshaw are $7 each unless they’re on the smaller side and our baby watermelons are $5 each. DM or comment what you’d like and we’ll add you to our list.

First time water glassing eggs! Does it make me nervous? Absolutely! I love my eggs fresh but last winter was the first time I had to buy eggs from the store in 8 years and we were so disappointed by the flavor. So this year I’m getting prepared for our flock to take a break but still be able to enjoy our nutrient dense, delicious eggs!

Produce is ripening. Right now we have zucchini and yellow squash. Cucumbers are just starting to ripen and we have a variety of kinds. Beans will be ready in 2 weeks. We just picked our first crop to bottle, second crop will be for sale. Message or comment if you’d like to put in an order. All grown chemically free.

We got all our cold season plants planted a couple weeks ago and they’re starting to pop through our cold wet soil! We can’t wait for the sunshine to come back so our garden can really take off!

Looking to add to our farm and we are gauging interest in duck eggs vs quail eggs!

Both are extremely nutritious and taste similar to chicken eggs.

Duck eggs vs chicken eggs… Duck eggs have a much bigger and richer yolk, a higher concentration of nutrients and more protein than the standard hen’s egg. Duck eggs taste like chicken eggs, only more so. Their flavor tends to be more reliably intense than a chicken egg because of the duck’s diet. They’re excellent for baking!

Quail eggs taste a lot like chicken eggs but are small — typically just one-third the size of a standard chicken egg. For how small they are, they’re incredibly nutrient dense. A single quail egg provides a significant chunk of your daily vitamin B12, selenium, riboflavin, and choline needs, along with some iron — all in a serving that contains only 14 calories.

We had soooooo many grapes this year that I needed to bring in the reinforcements! These hard working kids picked well 20 large bowls of grapes! We canned 35 quarts and 32 pints of the most delicious juice!
