Dad is AKC registered, FCI, ACA, and APRI. He’s imported in from Korea with champion bloodlines. He’s been embark, tested, cleared for four types of glaucoma, has great knees/hips. AwAt EE

The mom is ACA and APRI registered. She has had her hips and knees checked, and her embark is pending. The mom I had some AKC lines. AtAt ee

Update! we had a great surprise. There were six puppies. All are healthy and seem to have no problem with nursing. There are five sesame and one black and tan.

Today, five new puppies Shiba will be born. KitKat has to have an emergency C-section and we’re going in in about 10 minutes to retrieve her puppies. Wish us luck.

Foxy’s five pups are growing up so fast. One red female, one black and tan male, two red male/ sesame carriers, one sesame male.

Foxy had her new litter this morning. Only one red female, 2 red males, 1 black and tan male and a sesame male. Can’t wait to see them grow up

I am at the vet with ginger, she tried to climb the fence and twisted her leg. Now it is broken:( she is so mad to have a cast on, she won’t even look at me. You got to love the Shiba attitude. I will just have to wait until she is over giving me the silent treatment, so I can spoil her.

Foxy had her ultrasound today and she is expecting puppies the 4th of July weekend. She should have around 7 puppies. Her last litter had three sesames, one black and tan and two red. Inquiries to get on her list is now open. I have posted a few of her past pups. (The photos show the siblings as pups and then as 7 month olds).

I did a photo shoot with Saki today. These will be the last photos she will have with all 4 legs. Tomorrow she will start her new life as a tripod. Wish her luck:)

Saki and her new recovery space. Does anyone in the Boise area have a dog play pen than I can borrow to fence the in. She will need to be restricted on her mobility for a few days.

I am so amazed at kindness of all of you that have donated toward the surgery. We are halfway (1210) to our new goal of 2015. Saki goes in on Monday for her surgery. I will update everyone with how she does. She will be avlb for adoption a week or so after her surgury.

Update: I just got off the phone with the team of specialists and it is with a saddened heart to let every one know, she will have emergency surgery in the next week or so to amputate her leg. Her surgery will be more like 2000 instead of the initial 5000 we needed for reconstructive surgery.

We have raised 720 in donations, to help Saki keep her leg. Thank you for everyone that has donated to this little rescue. I have never been more passionate about trying to help a rescue than this sweet gentle angel. I cannot wait to see her run for the first time. All donations accepted even if it is only a dollar and they will go to Inter mountain pet hospital.

As many of you know, I have been privately funding my Shiba rescue efforts for the past 20 years. I’ve done a lot of things behind closed doors l, that I don’t normally advertise. this little Miss came to me from out of state, and she will have a really tough road ahead of her. She can use all of your prayers. I am hoping that we will not lose her leg. I’m waiting to see if the doctors are going to try to do surgery to fix the growth issue in her leg . One of her legs is shorter than the other . She had trauma during birth, which caused her knee cap and ligaments to moved up towards her groin. I’ve had lots of people ask how they can help, anyone that wants to help donate towards her surgery you are welcome to do so through intermountain pet hospital. Once saki has recovered she will be avlb for adoption. The surgery for her could possibly run 4000 to $7000.

A good friend of mine Karolyn Lee is retiring from breeding. She has a 2 yr old cream female, a 3 yr old black and tan female and 2 red female shibas. All are healthy and have a clean bill of health. They will have a 600 adoption fee to pay for transport to their new home.

Piper

4 yr old piper is looking for a home. She is fully vaccinated and spayed. She is leash trained and fully potty trained. She is great with other dogs and cats. She doesn’t like high pitch sounds like alarms or air compressors. Her owner is an elderly lady and she can no longer care for her. Piper is on the smaller side. She is located in Boise, but I can set up transport if needed.

adopted!!!! Brooks shopping at harbor and freight. Such a good boy. This sweet boy is still up for adoption. He’s fully vaccinated, including his rabies. He’s very gentle when taking treats, and he loves attention. He’s playful with other dogs as well. Today was his first day on a leash, and he did amazing.
