Sapphires are some of the world's most beautiful gems. They sparkle and shine and are one of only 4 "precious" gemstones in the world! The funny thing is, though, that they don't always look that way...in fact, it might be hard to even recognize one at first before it has been cleaned and polished. How fitting that this sweet little dog's name is Sapphire.

When she came to us, she had a massive skin infection and was so sore and painful. She was surrendered due to landlord restrictions, but we think that maybe that happened for a reason so that Sapphire could get some help! This sweet girl has let us poke and prod, bathe and medicate, and she is just now beginning to feel the relief from the treatment. Sapphire's owners said that she was such a good girl...completely housebroken, excellent with children of all ages, and well behaved indoors! She's a wonderful size at only 37 pounds and a year old!

Sapphire's skin is responding beautifully to treatment and she is expected to make a full recovery. Soon she will have a shiny, soft coat and just like a Sapphire her true beauty will shine! Please consider giving this precious gem of a girl a spot in your heart and home!

Hank needs help! This sweet, handsome boy has been stuck in the shelter for way too long! He's not handling the kennel life well at all. Hank's a working dog and being cooped up is driving him crazy. He desperately needs someone to save him from his kennel as soon as possible!

Hank is a fantastic dog who's just been overlooked. He's great with kids and other dogs but does have a prey drive, so no cats or small critters, please. He needs a home with a yard where he can run and play. When he was found as a stray, he lived with his finders for three weeks and was perfect inside—just no kennels or crates for him. Hank would be an ideal companion for someone who loves to run, bike, or be active outdoors.

This is urgent—Hank needs help now! We're worried that if he has to stay in a kennel any longer, he might act out. If you or someone you know can give Hank the loving, active home he deserves, please come see us today or share this post with friends!
