ALI'S OWNER PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY LEAVING ALI TO FIND A NEW HOME! Happy Tails Dog Rescue is assisting Ali's family with rehoming her. The reason for rehoming is due to Ali's owner (the grandmother) passing away unexpectedly a few months ago. The family is currently fostering Ali until they can find her a forever home. They would keep her, but they already have 3 dogs and are at full capacity in their tiny home at this time. Ali is a beautiful black Lab mix who is under a year old at 7 months. She is the sweetest little baby and is the epitome of "man's best friend". She is healthy, housetrained, and up to date on shots. Even though he is small he is very strong and active. Max is a very affectionate, sweet, loyal, and smart dog! He is a "lap dog" and enjoys just lying next to you as much as he can. Cowl's owner (John) was tragically killed in a car accident on 1/18/24. John's family didn't want the dog and left him chained up in the backyard without food or access to indoor shelter. The only care he gets is from neighbors bringing him food and water. Recently, Peter Bisuito (a neighbor), came to Cowl's rescue and is temporarily fostering him while we can work to find Cowl a loving forever home. UPDATE ON SOLI - Happy Tails was able to help dog-owner, Chloe Torres, find a new "hospice home" for her elderly dog named Soli who she is not able to take when she relocates. Volunteers, Rochelle Crunk (new forever mom) and Sherry Platt (6-week foster), have stepped up to save Soli. Today was the meet-n-greet when Rochelle and Sherry got to meet Soli for the first time. This is an example of how when we all work together for the benefit of dogs in need, great things happen. Happy Tails gives a special thanks to Rochelle and Sherry for their service and loving hearts!!
