Introducing our gorgeous new Friesian filly from Witten Creek Farm Friesian Sporthorse Foals WCF Calliope Ravenfoot aka Munchkin! She arrived last week but just keep forgetting to post her. She was one we reserved inutero last year so it’s been a long wait to get this sweet girl here🥰 Ruth and her husband have been phenomenal to work with and their stallions and mares are just gorgeous!
Baby boot camp time! Woodruff is such a helpful boy! He is a 3/4 American Cream Draft colt that we have consigned for his breeder. He is learning all his baby basics, getting registered and UTD on all cares. In the next few weeks he will be ready for his new pasture!
I got our gorgeous yearling smokey silver Andalusian cross filly Promise in the arena yesterday so she could show off her gorgeous movement!
Sunday is such a sweet boy 🥰
Sold! Congrats Colleen! Joker will be heading to Ontario, Canada!
Jokers Silver Goliath LHS is almost ready to wean and shockingly still available. This gorgeous smokey grulla Spanish Norman (Andalusian/Spotted Draft) colt is going to be one handsome dressage or working equitation super star! He should mature in the 16.1h range or taller. His registration with IALHA is in progress and he is already microchipped and DNA verified. Sired by Oriundo VG and out of our Spotted Draft mare Harley Quinn LHS.
Located in Brandon, Iowa but can help with hauling around weaning time.
Sold 🥰He will be heading to New Jersey this December.
We do have 2 by this guys sire: a blue roan Friesian/AQHA cross filly, grulla Friesian/Spotted Draft cross colt as well as a smokey grulla Andalusian/Spotted draft colt still available at weaning.
Magnus and mom enjoyed some outside turn out this afternoon now that it’s not so ungodly hot.
Magnus is one of only a handful of confirmed 3/4 Friesian silver dapple horses in existence! His dam is “A Wish Called Hazel”, a Friesian/Drum silver dapple mare and his sire is Grumello TTF- Purebred Friesian Stallion 🥰
Mom was just confirmed in foal for a 2024 full sibling to this amazing colt. Magnus is still looking for a new pasture at weaning time.
Located near Brandon, Iowa and can help with transportation when the time comes.
Everyone got a little “sweet tea” to beat the heat yesterday. It’s electrolytes, water and a scoop of sweet tea to encourage drinking more water. The younger horses were all big fans!
This guy just gets more gorgeous every day! He’s hanging out in the stall with mom while she’s being bred and his playful personality is really shining through! He LOVES to play with the stall toys and is always trying to see what I’m doing and help out when cleaning their stall.
75% Friesian (Brend 413/Wander 352 top side and Hessel on dam’s) 25% Drum (St. Clarins Gypsy/Shire mare) 2023 Silver Dapple (DNA confirmed) colt that’s still open to a new pasture come weaning in early November.
My oh my is he a lovely mover!
This 3/4 Friesian 1/4 Drum silver dapple (DNA confirmed) colt is still looking for his next pasture after come November! He will be registered with FSA or FHH. Located near Brandon, Iowa
Spicy Possum LHS aka “Posse” is happy to be home! She got an extended stay at the vet because we were camping over the 4th of July weekend and she wasn’t ready to come home until the day after we had left.
She has decided that scratches are still the best and that everything needs investigated! She’s very full of herself and constantly on the move!
Sunday Funday LHS
Spotted Draft Horse Registry
Homozygous Dun and Black/heterozygous tobiano and SW1
5 panel negative
Excellent stud prospect
He currently stands 15.1h and should hit 16h+
He is very well mannered, easy to handle and nicely put together.
Located near Brandon, Iowa.
I went to visit Mike at the barn where Reghan M Performance Horse Training has had him for almost 60 days now. He’s coming along so nicely! I can’t wait to get him home and hit the trails! Hopefully we get some warmer weather first though. Mike or “Dun Giovani LHS” is a home bred FSA bronze elite registered Friesian/AQHA cross gelding by Draco (Fridse 423) and a pleasure bred mare. He cemented our love for the Friesian cross while watching him grow with his goofy and sweet temperament.
She gave up her hostage! The first colt of the 2023 foaling season is here and he’s all legs! He’s a gorgeous black with a star and big snip 🥰
Miss Kyrie finished her stall rest and is finally on turn out again and doing awesome! She will need surgery still to remove some chips but we are waiting for another check up to schedule that.
Sunday Funday got some good turn out time today while Grumello TTF- Purebred Friesian Stallion was at his lesson.
He definitely enjoyed stretching his legs! It’s his first good outside turnout since his very successful surgery in January of this year, so it was much needed!
Hopefully the mud stays away and he and Kyrie can have this outside turn out time more regularly. We’ve got to take it slow and safe with our two injury prone youngsters 😂
Totes De Cassell LHS finished her weaning process today 🥰 Swantjee (her mom) was definitely ready to be able to start back on her grain. She gave her all to this gorgeous girl but has already started gaining weight in the short time they’ve been separated.
“Totes” is by the approved Friesian stallion Tjaarda 483.
Sunday and Church were looking a little lonely by themselves so they got moved into the girl’s baby pasture while Sunday is on stall rest. They decided the girls were a little aggressive and put themselves in the catch pen to get a little protection while everyone settles in 😂
