We are excited to participate in Bremerton First Friday Art Walk again! Gastro Pup invited us to set up our booth in their store; it's our first Pop Up of the 2024 Season. Come out to see us, the wonderful staff at Gastro Pup where they carry only the best for your furry friends, and stop by the other stores open late on First Friday! March 1st from 5-8 PM.

We will have our new flavor available to sample, so bring your dogs in!

We know it has been awhile since we last posted any news, but we've been out trying to get our treats in some more pet stores on the Kitsap Peninsula.

NEW LOCATION ALERT!
All five of our flavors can be found at Willow Treats in Port Orchard; located in the Town Square Mall at 1700 SE Mile Hill Dr, Suite 121. This store opened within the last year and is owned and operated by local veterinarians and their family/friends; you know they'll carry the best for your cat or dog.

We at Ruff Seas Treats are excited for the year ahead! We look forward to this spring where we can see our human and furry customers at the local farmers markets, night markets, and new shows/locations.

Until we're able to see you in public, you can find our treats at some of the local shops and online. Our homemade treats are available at: The NW Dog, Blue Collar Pet Salon, GastroPup, Revival, Olalla Bay Market & Landing, and Local Whimsy. We have plans to get our treats in more local shops, so keep your eyes pealed for updates here!

We would like you to be aware that we have raised our prices a little. Each bag of homemade dog treats are available for $10 + tax. We continue to carry the following sweet and savory flavors: Banana Beet, Ginger Snap, CheddaBacon and Tuna Turmeric. We have a NEW FLAVOR in progress...we are shipping a sample off to a lab for analysis and then waiting for the approval from the state for the new label. We will have this new treat available for purchase at the farmers markets this spring and hopefully online and in stores sooner. Any guesses to the new flavor?

Good morning!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by your family and/or friends. We spent our day in Napier, New Zealand, touring a few wineries with friends.

We know that the holidays are soon upon us, and that you may be looking to purchase some homemade dog treats for your furry friend. Today, we have opened our website back up for online orders, and we will arrive state side on December 14th. We are happy to ship out or make local deliveries December 15th through the 21st. Thank you for your patience while we have been on a long holiday. We also appreciate those who may have shopped at local stores while we were away.

We have had a very successful year thanks to our wonderful customers! We look forward to a few changes in 2024; we'll keep you posted. If Piper and I don't see you before the holidays, we hope you have a wonderful time surrounded by family and friends. Thank you for supporting our small business...we love and appreciate you!

The holidays are just around the corner; unfortunately, we will be gone for most of them. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for you, your pups, and any furry friends you plan to purchase gifts for.

Even though we will be gone, you can still order treats online. Please NOTE that our website will be unavailable to purchase treats from November 15th until December 10th, when we are out of the country. We will be around to make local deliveries from December 15th through December 21st. We just finished our last market of 2023!! Yes, You heard that correctly. We will be traveling so much through the rest of the year that unfortunately we will not be present at any of the holiday markets. We know this does not make it convenient for gift shopping for your furry friends, but don't worry; you can find Ruff Seas Treats in the following locations.

1 - The NW Dog in Poulsbo - Our newest location carries our CheddaBacon and Tuna Turmeric Biscuits. They are a cute, small dog boutique located in the heart of Poulsbo on Front Street.

2 - Local Whimsy in Gig Harbor - They just opened their doors and are located on the waterfront! In their shop, they have created a space where you can gather, create and shop local makers. They carry all our flavors.

3 - Olalla Bay Market & Landing in Olalla - Serving good food, conversation and community, this is a great place to hang out with your family, friends, and pup(s). They carry all our flavors.

4 - Blue Collar Pet Salon in Bremerton - They offer full service all breed grooming by appointment and also offer a self service pet wash. They carry all our flavors.

5 - Gastro Pup in downtown Bremerton - Top-rated pet food store and pet supply store in Bremerton. They carry all our flavors and anything your pets may need.

6 - Re•viv•al in Port Orchard - Home decor, gifts, local goods, PNW apparel & floral. They support many small businesses and carry all our flavors.

There aren’t too many beautiful fall days left in the Pacific Northwest Tomorrow, Saturday, October 21st we’ll be at the from 9 am until 2 pm for their last market of the season. We are vending in a new location today; we’re excited to be featured at the NEX Navy Exchange Bangor base today and tomorrow. We just found out the Navy is celebrating a huge birthday this weekend. So if you have access to the base, come on out to see us.

Fall is definitely in the air. During those final warm days, take some time with family to get out and enjoy; maybe even take in a market during your fall family checklists. You can still find us at a couple farmers markets this upcoming month, and we're hoping the weather is nice for all of them.

We will be at:
1 - The Local this Sunday, October 1st from 10 am until 4 pm located inside Re•viv•al in downtown Port Orchard. It's been a while since we've been in the store, so we're excited to be back. The store is pet friendly, so bring in your pups to meet our mascot Piper.

2 - Bremerton Community Farmers Market on Oct 5th and 12th from 3:30 until 6:30 pm (fall hours). October 12th is Customer Appreciation Days where there will be some deals, treats for kids at some booths, and a costume contest for dogs and owners. There are categories to win prizes (check out my fourth image).

3 - Port Orchard Farmers Market on October 7th and 21st from 9 am until 2 pm. We love the Port Orchard community and appreciate all the support. We look forward to returning next year.

4 - Tricks for Treats Dog Market at The Beer Vault in Gig Harbor on October 22nd starting at 2 pm. Bring your dogs down for a Howl-o-ween Pawty where there will be a costume contest, dog photographer and dog vendors. Piper and I will be there with our costumes. A friendly reminder The Beer Vault is 21+.

5 - On October 14th and 15th we will be at the Bangor Navy Exchange for all the families who live on base or who have access to the base. We look forward to meeting some new customers and catching up with some we've seen at other markets.

*Sadly we will be missing the holidays because we will be out of the country from November 15th until December 14th, so please come see us somewhere in October to stock up on your pups favorite treats. As always, you can order online. Enjoy the fall and upcoming holidays.

Hello All!

What a great summer! Thank you for all the support in attending the many markets and festivals we were at. We're currently on vacation in Italy but will be hitting the road running when we return. You can find your pups favorite homemade biscuits at the following markets:

1 - Port Orchard Night Market, September 9th from 6 to 10 pm. This is the final night market for the season, so come on out to see us and other amazing vendors for a final night on the town. Dogs are welcome and encouraged, as long as they do well in crowds.

2 - Evening Pop-up Market at Deep Draft Brewing, September 10th from 3 to 7 pm. We stopped in at this local place a month ago and fell in love; great ambiance and delicious brews. There will be some vendors to shop in the parking lot. So come enjoy a drink, have some amazing brisket from the Wigwam and shop the local makers. Dogs also welcomed!

3 - Bremerton Community Farmers Market - Thursday September 14th, 21st, and 28th. The time changes to 3:30 to 6:30 pm due to kids back in school and the sun sets earlier. The market is located in the Evergreen Rotary Park and is such a beautiful setting, come out and enjoy!

4 - Port Orchard Farmers Market - Saturday September 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 9 am until 2 pm. The market is still being held during construction, so keep your eyes on the lookout for possible traffic reroutes.

The Cruz car show is happening in Port Orchard today from 10 a to 4 p. There are cars from all decades and styles; something for everyone. We are set up in the lot between the Re•viv•al and Dudes Donuts Come out to see us and others. I’ve seen lots of dogs already this morning, but if your pup isn’t crowd friendly, stop by for a treat to take home to them. 😊 Port Orchard, Washington

Classic Car Show at the Seabeck Community Market today! We’re here from 12 noon to 4 pm. Come out to see some beautifully restored cars, lunch, and several vendors to shop from; don’t miss the vendors that are inside the building as well.

Summer is skipping right along - we can't believe it's August already!! We moved into our new home - a separate post with pictures coming soon.

1) Bremerton Community Farmers Market - Every Thursday in August except for the last Thursday because we will be on vacation overseas.

2) Port Orchard Farmers Market - Saturday, Aug 5th and 26th from 9 am to 2 pm.

3) Seabeck Community Market - this Sunday, Aug 6th from noon to 4 pm.

4) Port Orchard Night Market - Saturday, Aug 12th from 6 to 10 pm. We will have the create your own variety pack available.

5) The Cruz Car Show - Sunday, Aug 13th from 9 am to 4 pm. We'll be on located on Bay Street between the Revival and Dude's Donuts. This will be our first time at the Car Show, and we are excited to be a part of this amazing day.

6) The Peninsula Logging Show - Saturday, Aug 19th from 11 am to 6 pm at the Port Orchard Airport. We have lived in the PNW for a total of five years and have never been to a logging show, to say we're excited to be a part of this event would be an understatement.

Hello, July! Did I just say July?? Where has the time gone? June was a busy month for me, Ruff Seas owner, with several markets and festivals, a trip back home. to visit family, and working out at the property trying to finish the last details on our living space so we can get final inspection to move in later this month; hopefully not too much later.

We have to cut back on some of our regular markets to pack and move, but don't worry, you can still find your pup's favorite Ruff Seas Treats at all of these locations this month:

1. Re•viv•al at The Local THIS Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. The store is Pet Friendly, so bring them down to meet Piper 🐾

2. Bremerton Community Farmers Market July 6th AND 27th from 4 to 7 pm. I wish I could be there every Thursday this month, but I need time to pack, bake and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary!

3. Port Orchard Farmers Market July 8th AND 29th from 9 am to 2 pm. Saturday July 8th is Bark it at the Market, so bring your furry friends down!! There will be a pet parade, costume contest and tricks challenge. We're excited to see all the dressed up pups! Bring yours by for a special treat.

4. Port Orchard Artisan & Vintage Fair on the Port Orchard Waterfront Friday, July 14th AND Saturday, July 15th. This is our first time participating, and we are so excited!! We are honored to be asked to be a part of this big Fair. Also come down to see the beautiful Chris Craft boats at the Chris Craft Rendezvous!! As mentioned before, we're huge lovers of boats of any kind because we spent five years living on a sailboat. We LOVE boat dogs!!

5. Seabeck Community Market Sunday, July 16th from noon to 4 pm. We appreciate our local patrons in the beautiful community of Seabeck.

6. Port Orchard Night Market on Saturday, July 22 from 6 to 10 pm. The first night market was a huge success!! We're excited to be back to meet our familiar friends and new furry pups.

7. Point Ruston Waterfront Market in Tacoma, Washington on Sunday, July 30th from 11 am to 4 pm. This will be our first visit to the Point Ruston market and the first time our treats will be available beyond Kitsap Penninsula; we're excited to branch out!
