Wanted: additional team member for our barn work staff

Tenderfoot Stables is seeking a reliable and dependable person to join our team. Specifically we are looking for someone to cover Saturday and Sunday morning barn work shifts.

Responsibilities:
* Caring for horses, including feeding, haying, watering and turning out/in
* Observing the overall health and well-being of the horses
* Being dependable and arriving on time
* Caring about the quality of work you are providing

Requirements:
* Must be 18 years or older
* Must have previous experience working with horses
* Must be willing to work in all types of weather
* Must provide at least two references
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs
* Must have your own transportation

Today we wrapped up our summer camp season with a group trail ride. These beginner rider campers did amazing! It is so cool to see how fast they improve their skills from day 1 to day 3.

A few of our western girls enjoyed A Day In The Saddle at Spring Valley Park! The creek was a huge hit with both riders and horses and a big help for keeping cool!

Last week our “Build Your Skills” campers worked on improving their riding skills with their western instructor Odessa, while also fitting in some fun with crafts and games! A great start to summer!
