And that’s a wrap on the CRCA Firecracker! The Futurity horses had solid outings in the reining and herd work, and handled the pressure with some tough cattle down the fence. Ready for a little time off, then back to preparing for fall shows.

We are now offering a JUNIOR stockmanship clinic with Sandhills rancher Ryan Sexson.

Training Tip:

~ Be a constant, not a variable! ~

Be consistent in your cues, your responses, and your emotions! So, when the variables inevitably do come (different arenas, scary objects, new maneuvers, etc.), YOU are the one thing your horse can rely on to be the same in ALL circumstances.
