For the last 5 years I have been learning all the ins and outs of Whitetail Taxidermy from one of the best, Mr. Keith Deehan of KD Taxidermy. At first it was just something I wanted to learn and save a little money doing my own mounts, but after deer # 3 and Keith telling me I have a talent with shoulder mounts, I thought what the heck I’ll take on a few friends and clients. I have done/worked on almost a dozen shoulders now and some still to work on. As life does, it always has its set backs, I’m only human and this isn’t a full time gig (yet), so I will say 18 month turn around (from the time I receive the hide), I do not tan the hides I send them out to a real PROFESSIONAL. I will be honest I have had a couple take longer but as I said life has its way of slowing you down. I wanted to have a few shoulders under my belt before completely committing into the Taxidermy world, which is why I was late to post anything. I have a Facebook, Zims Taxidermy, which is slowly being worked on so bare with me, I should have plenty of pictures up within a week or so. I have a shop set up and ready to work in the Bronson MI area, along with my usual spot at Mr. Keith Deehans near Hamilton IN and the Ohio line. I will have three drop off locations and can also drive to you. Thank you to all past and future clients, I treat all of my mounts as if they were my own or Mark Drury’s 😂!
