Here's our attempt at the what the fluff challenge. We're not sure what Guinness thought but if we were to go by that meow at the end he probably is thinking "what the...." ((You'll have to excuse me laughing at seeing our vet assistant, Jessica, jump between the blanket and wall. It was just too funny 🤣😜😹)) #whatthefluff #whatthefluffchallenge #dailydoseofguinness
Another successful week cleaning dirty mouths! 🙊😂 Aren't they just a work of beauty!? #brahmyvet
This is a closet Guinness is not allowed in because we store bags of food in it. Today he learned how to open the doors! What a smart, yet sassy cookie! He keeps us on our toes 😊 #happycaturday #dailydoseofGuinness
Being a Fear Free veterinary clinic means that we take special care to keep our patients fear, anxiety, and stress levels as low as possible during all visits. In this video Oliver is getting a Fear Free nail trim! During all nail trims we make sure to go slow, keep them in a comfortable position (such as on the floor where they can have control or wrapped in a comfy towel), don't force them to go on if they struggle, and give lots of yummy treats to reward them! Afterwards we always tell them how brave they were because nail trims can be very scary. #fearfreepets
Putting your dog's monthly flea and tick preventative on doesn't have to be a struggle! Spread some peanut butter on the floor and while your dog is busy licking it up, quickly apply the preventative.
Teaching your dog to put their head down and relax can be a really useful tool to have. This is especially helpful for young, energetic dogs or dogs who can get easily over stimulated. For more tips and tricks you can contact Brittany.
Physical stimulation is very important for your dog's well being, but mental stimulation is just as important. Working on commands as well as having your dog chase treats on walks are two ways to help exercise your dog's body and brain.
Here is a fun game you can try indoors to keep your dog entertained when it is raining outside or just too hot. Dogs need mental stimulation as much as physical stimulation for their health and well being.
Over the holiday weekend, Coco and Ella had a little time to enjoy the weather while staying in boarding.
