Tahoe is the 3rd of three daughters of Tokaj that we finished and she only produced three daughters. Topeka, Tahoe, and Treasure Island. The T dam line has been good to us, many thanks to Laurie Acton!

An updated photo of Cruz. He is quite the stud muffin. His paternal sister was GCH at California State Fair. His dam 5th at Nationals. We expect wonderful things from Cruz! He has some neat breeding plans for this fall.

Perhaps the prettiest buck we have bred in a long time. Thane was born 2/5/24. He is huge as well as beautiful. His dam is a finished CH, maternal sister has been 6x1st Yearling milker (6× shown) and dam's maternal sister is CH ShadyLawnKT Treasure Island, 2nd/2nd udder RG yearling milker at Redmond and undefeated otherwise.

Thane is really too close to use in our herd--we have a 1/2 brother and of the 7 Alpine does, 5 are his dam or sisters. So Thane is available to the right home.

Daiquiri went to one show, was 2xJr GCH 1x BJDIS. Her twin sister Martini was Supreme National Youth LaMancha Jr doe in 2023. Daiquiri never saw a show ring until this May. Another Andreas daughter from the Banana line, we love the consistency.

We are going to start to highlight some of our does that were going to Louisville, but didn't get seen. Some haven't been off the farm. Some have been to one show.

Coffee went to one show as a kid, that being NAILE and was 1st. Part of our 1st Jr get and Best 3 Jr females. She was shown 1x this year for 1x Jr Champion. This big, long, level, wide, powerful, yet dairy doe stands on strong feet and legs. She has a beautiful escutcheon and teat placement. With a dam that is LA 92, and maternal grand dam 91, not to mention the beautiful CH Auburn as paternal grand dam--we are pretty confident in Coffee. And she's an elf 💙
She has a full baby sister here as well. These Andreas daughters are 💥

Bahama is our LaMancha Jr Yearling. A huge, long, upstanding, dairy doe from one of our favorite RG does. Bahama is a first generation LaMancha. She has her restricted leg (as does all our yearlings). The teat placement and escutcheon are very promising.

A Jr. Yearling, Dangerous Island earned her dry leg at her first show out this year. She is a lot like her dam, Treasure, very stylish and smooth. A very impressive escutcheon and teat placement. Another mammary I would put money on 😉

Another beautiful "Banana". Frappé was sold as a dry yearling and was recently offered back to us. We were thrilled to be able to bring her back home. She is a 3/4 sister to Crisp, and many similarities. A very stylish, correct doe. Thank you Jacque Stamm for taking such wonderful care of her and letting her come back to Shady Lawn!

"Hippie" is a repeat breeding of what we felt was our best kid born last year. That kid was pre-ordered and went to Mississippi along with another one of our best, to be a foundation for a start up LaMancha herd. We knew we wanted one for ourselves and thankfully Spirit complied. Hippie was Jr Champion at SWODGA under Anne Clagett.
Her dam finished her 1st show out this year, so we are pretty pleased with this family. Andreas doesn't miss 💓

Andreas was named in honor of an amazing Jersey bull bred by a dear friend. I hoped he would be a fraction of the sire. Our Andreas has not disappointed. He has two permanent CH two year old daughters, and many with legs. Sons in herds doing wonderful things. So very consistent--can't say enough about this guy. Thank you Julie Matthys for always sending what we need!

Our Herdsires don't get nearly enough attention, or love on our page. We don't show the boys so they rarely get clipped and good pictures taken. We are making a concentrated effort to get that changed

Tsunami has sired extremely consistent, long b***d, upstanding, deep, dairy does with beautiful mammaries. Excellent teat placement. Daughter CH Shady Lawn KT Treasure Island was 2nd/2nd udder yearling milker RG at Nationals in Redmond. She finished her 1st show in 2024.

Our last does to kid decided that we wanted buck kids, so we have some late born amazing Herdsire prospects. If you admired Hollywood Blvd, she had twin bucks. Chocolate Truffles has a beautiful big buck and we have decided to offer a doe kid as well from CH(pend) Autumn Acres Effervescence LA 91VEEE x Lee's Bees Credence (dam is GCH Lee's Bees Saige LA 92EEEE) as we are over our limit on doe kids. Effie was 2x BOB and 1x BSDIS her first show out to finish in 2024.

We are just 2 hrs from Louisville, so these kids can be delivered to the National Show (after show, outside of the Expo center). If paid for and pre arranged.

Due to their late births, the buck kids are budget friendly. $500 each. Doe kid is $800

Another Andreas daughter that is exactly what we are breeding for. Shown once and she was Jr Champion as well as BJDIS at just 3 months old!

We have decided to offer a few more doe kids for sale to offset the costs of Nationals. While not Medusa, they certainly can be just as nice. Some mature does will be available after Nationals, as most will be shown there. We have 1 Alpine buck kid and one Experimental buck available. Semen from our current Herdsires is also available.

We were offered a wonderful opportunity this spring to add some outstanding Recorded Grades to our program. It certainly wasn't planned, but we weren't going to pass this by. Especially since we had admired Zahayva for years! These does and their genetics fit right in. Very excited to see their future.

Doja attended SWODGA last weekend with the herd and picked up a GCH leg.

It has been brought to my attention that rumors are circulating about our herd. As much as I appreciate the free publicity, it really isn't necessary. We are very proud of the herd status of 100% CAE Negative and CL free. Below are the CAE results for 2024. I did not post as usual, didn't think it was needed. Apparently the community needs the reassurance.

As always, if you have a question regarding our herd--ask us. Do not spread gossip. The goat community is small, it will get back to us.

"Desi" was an impulse buy when Katie Jackson posted her for sale as a kid. We love her grand dam, "Dottie" and her dam, Delilah. Add in Munchin Hill Antigone and that Oberboerd genetics...well, we bought her. Desi was 2nd Jr Yearling at Redmond Nationals (first show and youngest one in the class as a December kid) she came home and was Jr Champion at a club show. Last weekend she was 1st Yearling milker in all rings.
Pretty cool red doe! Now...do we AI her Oberhasli or breed to one of our LaMancha or Alpines? Decisions, decisions!

We have previously stated that Sybil's dam, Stella, is one of the most impressive LaMancha does we have seen. We have a full brother to her (Spy Games) and this daughter. Sybil was shown for the 1st time last weekend and was 3x 1st, 1x GCH.

CH(pending) Shady Lawn KT Treasure Island, two year old RG second freshener. "Tre" has been a star from the beginning--Jr Champion at NAILE, undefeated as a yearling milker, except her 2nd/2nd udder at Nationals. She was 2x GCH yesterday to finish her Championship.

The herd did pretty well at the Franklin County Fair Show. Two new permanent champions, two with legs, and five junior does with dry/restricted legs!

A completely different string from two weeks ago, except for one Sr kid that is still chasing that Jr Champion win.

While I am off in Oklahoma to judge, Faith is getting ready for a show and clinic this weekend. She sent me this candid photo of Tease after her body clip. Tease was our 2023 NAILE Jr Champion, 2022 NAILE Reserve Jr Champion. She also picked up a BJDIS down in Mississippi. Nice when those pretty Jr's turn out! Our first Crede daughter to freshen. Can't wait for her. "Glamor" shot!

GCH(pending) Autumn Acres Effervescence 1*M LA 91VEEE https://genetics.adga.org/GoatDetail.aspx?RegNumber=L002106707 was the 4th of 4 milking does that went with us to AGPA show in Little Rock. She was 2xGCH 1x BSDIS and pulled from the other 2 rings. "Effie " joined our herd last summer and then came down with a devastating case of mastitis. We were certain her show career was over. Thankfully, she surprised us by coming back nearly level this year.
