Not sure how we missed this one! Last year we finished #2000 with our name on it. This saddle was a milestone and the owner only wanted a rough out. I talked him into a little more…the tooling was my nickel!

This is a saddle I built for Mortenson Silver and Saddles in Santa Fe and the movie “Dead Man’s Hand). I’m not sure if it was ever used for the movie or not.

Built this saddle a few years ago, always liked the way it turned out. I recently replaced the rigging rivets on it because the owner wore the heads off. I can honestly say he has ridden the snot out of it!

For those who are asking for a way to help, we’ve partnered with our friends at Happy Hiker and Addiction Recovery to provide a wildfire relief t-shirt. 911….Does anyone in the Abilene area or surrounding area have a saddle cross clicker die that I can borrow.??? or…do you know where I can order one pre-made??? I committed to doing 150 leather crosses for a church camp for name tags before June 4th..apparantly the big boss..(aka Steve Schooley) either gave away or loaned ours out!🤷🏼‍♀️😳 Thanks in advance for any help!!!

And so it begins! We are giving this saddle away to benefit the Buffalo Gap Volunteer Fire department. This saddle was Co-Designed by Clint Jones of the Pitchfork ranch in Dickens, Texas. This saddle is designed by a working cowboy for working cowboys.

I am going to document this saddle daily until completion, where it will then be on display in our booth at Western Heritage. The drawing will be May 18th at the Buffalo Gap Fish Fry.
