State Shoot for 4H at Holiday Lake this weekend. Fischer won Second place overall trap for the junior level. He won Third place individual hunting skills. Him with his team won First place overall team hunting skills

Did you miss opening day of dove season or was your hunt kind of, meh? Here's your second chance...

Nestled right on the county lines of Lunenburg and Brunswick, sits over 200 acres of amazing upland fields. Owner and professional bird dog trainer, Jacob Bacon has again agreed to allow Virginia Shooting Sports to take over for another dove hunt.

Bacon Farms enjoyed a tremendous hunt on opening day with a full field of shooters and tons of birds. The weather for this coming Saturday is very favorable for dove hunting, so grab your spot now!

Check-in begins at 11 am to allow ample time to set up blinds, mojos, etc with shooting time from 12 p until 5.30 p.

We’ll top off this fantastic hunt with our usual shindig featuring a delicious home-cooked meal and ice cold beverages. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Well behaved retrievers are welcome to assist their shooters on stand. Cost is only $250 per gun.
