Happy Monday! This week for Meet the Staff Monday we are featuring one of our groomers and vet assistants, Maycee!

Maycee was born and raised in Fort Madison. Since she was little, Maycee knew she wanted a career working with animals. After graduating from SCC with an AA and AS degree, she joined the Allgood team in May of 2022. While working at Allgoods, she found her passion for dog grooming! She enjoys spending her free time shopping, traveling, and being outdoors with her family, friends, and pets. Before working at the vet clinic, Maycee feared cats...but that fear did not last long and she now has 2 cats of her own!

Meet the Staff Monday! This week we are introducing our newest veterinarian, Dr. Ryan Wood!

Dr. Wood comes to us from Galesburg, Illinois. She attended Western Illinois University where she received her bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science with a minor in Chemistry. Following undergrad, Dr. Wood attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she is not at the clinic, as well as being with her dog and four cats. If she had to pick a favorite breed of dog, she would choose Australian Shepherds. In fact, the Aussie in this picture is one that Dr. Wood's family raised!

It's time for our next Meet the Staff Monday with Dr. Brooke Smith!

Dr. Smith was raised in southeast Iowa before attending Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2005, she moved back to the Burlington area and joined the Allgood's team. When not working, her children and pets keep her busy. Dr. Smith enjoys being outdoors, so you may find her working in her vegetable garden, caring for her chickens, or out for a motorcycle ride in her free time!

Meet the staff Monday!

It's been a while since we introduced our staff, so we thought no better person to start with than our kindhearted owner and veterinarian, Dr. Rita Lesczynski.

Dr. Rita grew up in Wisconsin on a dairy farm, so this winter weather is no biggie for her! In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, fine dining, and spending time with friends and her cats. She has been serving clients at Allgood Animal Hospital since 1975.
