Winter Hill is looking to fill a position for a new groom or working student.

Duties include: grooming, tacking/untacking, longeing, turn out and general barn work. No stall cleaning.

Previous horse experience required. Potential for growth within the position ie: assistant if desired, but not a necessity. Looking for someone who loves horses and the barn life to join us and our great group of clients.

Stilleto - 2009, 16.0hh Bay Hanoverian Mare $19,500 (US).

Stilleto is a really lovely, dark Bay mare by Sinatra Song. She has a wonderful, amateur friendly temperament and is ready to excel in either Hunters or Jumpers. She has 3 lofty, comfortable gaits and is very attractive. Her super bold, but relaxed attitude over fences make her a blast to jump. She carries a steady rhythm and is eager to the jumps without being anxious. This past summer she went to her first show and had great results in the Beginner Jumpers. Most impressive was her laid back attitude with all the energy and excitement of a big A-rated show. She has had amateur riders on her and is very kind and reliable. She is the total package...talented, sound and with an outstanding disposition.

Earned 2nd place in the both phases of the 2016 Oregon Hunter Jumper Association Adult Amateur Medal Finals and has numerous OHJA Year End awards.

Currently showing 1.0m Jumpers, Performance 3’3, and Amateur Owner 3’3 with his owner, eligible First Year Green. Placed very well in the 3’ jumpers with a novice rider at the High Desert Classic II in 2016. He has also placed well in Children’s Working Hunter with a teenager and would love to be your next derby horse! He has scope to jump big, clearing 4’6 with ease. He has been consistently in the top placings for IHSA meets and is always a favorite draw by many!

Congratulations everyone on another successful show at Hunter Creek! After only one week of showing, things are looking pretty good for the Winter Hill crew! We'll see you all again in August!

Sold - *Price Reduced* Owner has moved for college. Big Time is a 12 yr. old 17.1H Gelding by Crown Affair. Cody is a gentle giant with an athletic and scopey jump. He is very well broke on the flat and has a lovely, steady rhythm to the fences. He has consistently been very successful in the Medals and Equitation divisions. He has also had multiple placings in International /National Hunter Derbies starting in 2012. In 2014, he was the OHJA Jr/Sr Medal Champion. He has won several Show Circuit and Year End Awards from 2011 to present. In 2013, he was 6th in the Maclay Regionals, and in 2014, he placed 9th. He brought current rider up to the 3'6".

Cody has a steady, reliable temperament and is perfect for a Junior or Amateur with little prep. He is a true show veteran who is easy and fun to work with and he has a kind, sensible disposition.
