Here is some great information about how to check a nest if you think mom isn't coming back.
Wildlife Rehabilitators are getting overwhelmed with the amount of bunnies coming into care, it's important to make sure Mom is coming back before taking babies out of their nest. Their mothers are their best shot at survival. Baby bunnies can be very difficult to rehabilitate.

People also come across nests that have been dug up by wildlife or even their own dogs. If the babies are not injured, you can try your best to rebuild the nest and try this method to see if mom comes back.

The ACO got the chance to make way for ducklings this morning! We’re glad this momma and her 13 babies made it across the street without any problems. Thank you to the kind people who called and stuck around to help keep this family safe. 🦆

We hope to get back to hosting our own rabies clinic next year but in the meantime check this one out.

Thank you Dedham Animal Control and Dedham ARL for all you do!!

Please share - the more the merrier - as the goal between the Animal Rescue League (ARL) and Dedham Animal Control, is to have as many pets vaccinated as possible!

Microchips are a permanent identification and a great addition to collars/tags - helping to reunite lost pets with their owners in the event of a lost collar. Feel free to attend just for a chip if you don't need a rabies vaccine.

Again, you do not have to be a Dedham resident to attend this clinic. Our good friends and colleagues at the ARL are dedicated to animals, and pride themselves in providing care to community pets through wonderful programs like this one! We are so happy to be partnering with them for the third year in a row!
