When it’s storming wind and rain blowing in and you have a training session with the 3yr old OTTB it turns into a real brain buster for the baby. Irish just kept thinking why am I working in the rain, this is hard , I’m just a baby. We ended on a good note and days like this are what make solid citizens in the future.

I am so proud of our riders tonight as we celebrated a Clean Sweep winning Champion in every English division the Big 5 Show Series offers. Including taking home Reserve Champion in multiple divisions and placings throughout. The riders and horses worked hard to secure their spots as this year the English division nearly doubled from years prior and our riders learned so much and always conducted themselves with the greatest respect for the sport. Huge thank you to our local Amarillo community for coming and supporting our Big 5 Horse Show family. Can’t wait for 2025 - it will be bigger and better!

Determination is what you see in this video - Proud is an understatement of how I feel watching these two cruise around 3’6 like it’s nothing and the pure joy they both have in their new roles. They have come so far from eventing to jumpers to now working on the hunters (and the rider is also learning western at the same time) she puts in more hours at the barn than anyone else (other than me 😉) and it shows in her ability to tackle new challenges every ride. Fantastic job Vivian and Levi, there are no limits for either of you!

So proud of these girls on their first ever catch ride day! You can learn so much about yourself when you ride new horses, things you are good at, things you need to work on, all of it. But I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better or had more fun doing it!
