Did you know poodles are hunting dogs?? 😱
Those fancy ’fru-fru’ cuts you see poodles sporting are actually beneficial for protecting their vital arteries and joints during cold water duck retrievals.

Hear no evil, see no evil, and keep those kitty teefers away from me!
Cat grooming is very dangerous, obviously for me but also for the kitties! Kitties have very thin stretchy skin and a lot more of it than you’d think.
The happy hoodie is a tool I utilize to dampen the sound of the dryer. When it’s not so loud it’s not so stressful!
I like to call the muzzle our “cat hat”. Not only does it protect me from teefs but it leaves kitties with only the ability to detect lighting changes. If I didn’t know what was going on, some lady coming at me with silver pointy things would scare me too!
I will always do right by your furbabies. Some kitties get too scared, so when you drop off for your appointment please be available for a phone call letting you know your kitty may be ready to go home early.

Squeaky and her brother came in today and got a little trim! They both did excellent however, on their feedback surveys they mentioned the bath was not their favourite part.

My style of grooming implements a technique called “Asian Fusion”. That big chonky round muzzle isn’t something every groomer will offer.
While I have a lot to work on with this technique, I must admit, it’s pretty dang cute.

An awesome service I offer is something called a “Face, Feet and Sanitary Trim”. While it doesn’t leave the kiddos as sharp as a full haircut service, it’s an excellent option to keep your kiddo smelling fresh and hair tangle free until their next appointment. (It’s also cheaper than a full haircut!!!)
