We were more than honored to be invited to compete in the 3 Shy Cowboy Classic. 3 Shy Cattledog Trials has once again put on an *outstanding* cattle dog trail in the most realistic every day ranch setting *imaginable*!!!!
We couldn’t be more proud and blessed of how our dogs worked and handled each situation and challenge throughout the course. As well as some of the top dogs and handlers in the county. Thanks again Derk Robinson & Mike Odom 3 Shy Cattle dog trials for putting on a real cattle dog trial where we all cheered and rooted for each other with amazing hospitality and fellowship!

From all across the country, with more accolades than I can list! These handlers are some of the top dog hands both in and out of the arena, and they are coming to show everyone and compete for the $20,000 purse!!

In this training cession we are working on basics and mind control. In order to control the feet, you first have to control the mind. Without basics there is no foundation!

"It's not so much what we do, it's how we do what we do. And all you are trying
to do is get this Dog to where you can operate the life in his body, through
his legs to his feet, through his mind. The mind might come last because he
don't understand. But you have to give him space to learn. So it's got to come
from US to the DOG. And what is your responsibility? It's no different than
raising a child. So this Dog is running over you, walking on you, jumping on you, doing things you don't want. Why would you let him do that? Who is the instructor? Who is
the teacher? Who is taking care of this outfit?" - Ray Hunt
