Yesterday our sweet house cat Minnie Mouse crossed the rainbow bridge. She was loved and spoiled her whole life by many and will always be missed. She was such a fun, loving, spunky cat despite the health issues she had. We will miss seeing her sweet face daily. Rest easy our sweet Minnie ❤️

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Wanted to remind everyone that we have waitlists for the rest of the year. It is never to early to make your reservations to ensure that you are able to have your animal(s) boarded with us. Please remember to lock in accommodations for your animals prior to booking any plane tickets, hotels, ect. Daycare is extremely limited as well for the rest of the summer and is on a first come first basis. Please be understanding when calling and trying to get pets into daycare. We are not exactly set up or staffed for daycare but it is something we thought would be nice to offer on a small scale since there are so many daycares here in town. Have a great week.

Just a reminder:
☀️Do not leave your pets outside, just because they have access to shade does not mean they can't get heatstroke
☀️NEVER leave your pets in a vehicle without a/c, it's sad that this still has to be a reminder to this day.
☀️Do not exercise or walk your dogs in the middle of the day. Early mornings or at night is best.
☀️Be sure your pets have access to fresh water throughout the day.
☀️"Squishy-faced" or brachycephalic breeds (Pugs, any type of Bulldogs, Boxers etc) are more prone to heatstroke since breathing is more difficult for them.

NEVER leave a pet (or person) inside a parked vehicle. On a mild 80-degree day, the temperature inside a vehicle can reach 100 degrees in minutes and can be fatal.

Here's to another week! Just a heads up, We are completely booked up for BOTH daycare and boarding for the rest of the month into the first week of July. We will not be making any new reservations at this time for that reason. We suggest booking as soon as you think you would like to make plans this summer and holiday season to ensure that we have accommodations for your animal before you book your flights/hotels. This year is gearing up to be our busiest year yet.
With that being said, please don't forget to vote for us in this years Nevada Appeal Best Of 2024. We sure would appreciate your daily vote :)

Poor Dr Katie has been so busy lately, if you are not already an established client with us, or just need to have your babies spayed/neutered sooner than we can get you in. This is a great option.

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 Beginning TODAY (June 5, 2024) at our NHS Reno Clinic, we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting spay/neuter appointments for owned cats in our community! This is an exciting step for our organization in re-opening spay/neuter services to the public 🐱🎉

Space is limited. Cost is $45.00/cat. Package includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, nail trim, and pain medications to go home. Booking online is by-appointment as a first come first serve, and spay/neuter appointments are held on Mondays and Tuesdays. Payment is due at the time of booking. Appointment slots will open the 4th Tuesday of the month for the following month.

If your wondering just how we keep the puppers nice and cool in the summer time, we have pool parties!! 🐶🐾💦
We have all kinds of fun water activities for the pups here from pools to splash pads and misters and even a water tunnel ☺️.
