New girl had her first class tonight. Gigi belongs to some wonderful friends of ours so we are excited to get her going under saddle for them! We are off to a good start🥰

Dallas went home last night… It’s always hard on me, I get so dang attached. Even when I tell myself I won’t, I do anyway🥹 My hubby doesn’t have to worry about me falling in love with another guy but, falling in love with more equine, now that’s a different story😉

If Dallas looks familiar to y’all, it’s because Duke that I trained about this time last year is his big brother!🥰 it’s so fun when I get to train animals that are related. Always so neat so see the difference and similarities between them!

Gigi

Dallas. 7th ride. Pick me up.

“Pick me up!” Dallas has it down now! Took him a bit to catch on but once he did he went straight to pro status💙

Dallas! He came in on Friday, Dad has been putting him through the groundwork and his first ride will be coming pretty soon! What a pretty boy and such a great mover! I can’t wait to swing a leg over him and take him for a spin! ♥️

This video is a long one but worth the watch. I have spent two weeks with Merlin and I am so proud of his progress. He is a very nice horse and I am excited to see what all we can accomplish in these next two weeks.

Merlin’s 1st ride in session number two! he had a case of sticky feet we had to work through but for the 1st ride he was so relaxed and tried hard to do the right thing. Merlin is a MFT/quarter cross and he is definitely going to gait. Excited to see how far I can take him in the time I have him for.

My last session with Earl. This youngster came to me to be started on January 2nd. I’d like to think I have done a good job on giving him a great start. Tonight we went for a ride and worked on crossing a lot of ditches, mud, and water, and practicing the “pick me up” this young mule has a bright future ahead of him.
