It is with great sadness that we announce that Grace Of Ganges "Giza" passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. We are so heartbroken we haven't been able to bring ourselves to even tell anyone, let alone talk about it. We love her so very much. She was the sweetest, most expressive mare. We still have her exceptional daughter, Rifraffs Ganges Grace. We had hoped to get a few eggs from Giza and breed her to *El Nabila B again using a surrogate, but this was so unexpected. We miss her deeply.

Giza went into labor last night to deliver her *El Nabila B c**t, and our excitement soon turned to devastation. The c**t was delivering breached. Giza was run to the vet where they pulled the c**t out saving the mare, but the c**t was not alive. The vets fear Giza will not be able to carry a foal now due to the damage sustained from this difficult delivery. We are, however, hopeful that she can continue having gorgeous foals via surrogate. The c**t was a great big beautiful bay. He would have been magnificent. We will try this cross again with *El Nabila B via surrogate next year. 😪
